My wife ordered a $40 travel bag a year ago (nov 2023). I just today realize that this company was charging my credit card $37-$50 monthly since then for their monthly subscription fee that she never signed up for. Called all phone numbers I could find. No answer. Emailed the company, got an auto response saying "you signed up" and attached is proof (nothing was attached). So now this $40 bag has cost almost $600. I disputed as many charges as i could with my CC. What a messed up company. DO NOT BUY anything from them.Review from Laura W

HORRIBLE COMPANY! I don't even remember what I ordered from them but they insisted that Is signed up for their membership and were charging my credit card a membership fee every month. After sending them several emails, they finally cancelled my "membership." In the fine print they mention being able to obtain your credit card information EVEN IF YOU CHANGE CREDIT CARDS which should be illegal. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEMReview from Marcia B

I ordered something from O &H in 2022. I never realized that I had signed up for an ongoing account. Every month since then I have received at least one charge for $18. ish for nothing.I have started having $37.51 charged to my charge card twice a month since March. Neither phone has anyone answer it , they request you write to them hello@oakandhearth and they will help you. NOT!!!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!Review from pat h

I have the same complaint that the others have had. I bought one dog jacket late 2022 and then in October ***************************** ***** per month twice a month for a subscription I was not aware of. This month (March 2024 they charged me $37.93 plus the *****).They do not have a working phone # and I get a standard form letter in response to my cancelation requests saying that have given it a case number but that I signed up for the subscription when I made my purchase.I have contacted my credit card company and they are going to dispute the last 90 days of charges but I don't know if they will be successful or not.Review from Shelley K

This company is fraud. I cant even get my order and like everyone else. They signed me up for a membership that I did not agree to and you cannot contact them over the phone. It is email only and it takes days for them to respond if they even do.I didnt even wanna leave one star but you have to to submit this. This company should be closed. This company somehow tricked me into signing up for a long-term subscription for $18.33 a month and then proceeded to charge me every 2 weeks for a year before my credit card company caught it. Now I'm having trouble even reaching them in order to get a refund. Their phone lines are not working and you can only email and get unresponsive answers.Review from Jon B

Please take this company out of business. I emailed them and told them I want to cancel my membership. I also canceled my account. They acknowledged my email of my request and I thought things were settled. Three months later, I see a charge of $18.33 and I am FURIOUS! This is definitely fraud. What is even more disgusting is their customer service does not work and they guide you to send an email. There needs to be a firm law for companies to have a customer service that replies especially dealing with consumers money and accounts.Review from Skipp S

Less than 1 star. They sign you up for a membership automatically for $18.33 USD. Terrible. Bought a $29.99 harness which cost me over $250 when I caught what they were doing.Review from DR R

Like others, I have had monthly charges deducted from my account with no subscription or agreement or purchase that I'm aware of on my part. Filed a complaint with my credit card company trying to get these charges reversed. Apparently, it's a huge scam and this "comoany" operates on shady business practices. I have emailed them to cancel said subscription I wasn't aware of and never agreed to, so we'll see. BEWARE!Review from JoAnn B

I Purchased, something from Oak and Hearth and they claim that I agreed to a membership which I did not. They have been continually charging my credit card $18.33 each month. I tried unsuccessfully to call them and email them about this. Be aware when you are ordering anything from them because somewhere they may be a clause where you dont realize you are being signed up with a membership.
