On 8/8/21, the owner of Vanpatten Furnishings sends me an invoice after discussing terms and delivery date on invoice **** *tating that my payment of 1399, which he collected, would have him provide a 8x3x31 table with 8 chairs. Turn around time would be 12 weeks. Give or take some time since moving to another facility. 12 weeks. 11/4, he messages me for my cell phone number to call me in the evening to let me know he's run into some problems but he will have a table for me ready for thanksgiving. I said that sounds great and I am ok with that. Thanksgiving comes and no word, follow up or delivery update. I messaged 11/22 to confirm if we were ok and no reply but message was seen on social media messenger. Again on 11/29 and once again, seen but not replied. I called and left messages and I was being forwarded to voice mail. Called from my girlfriends phone and he picked up but than hung up after a short convo. I called him from my work phone 12/30/21 and told me moving shops and losing his grandma has caused the delay. Gave me the OK that he can send the table and no chairs. Asked for my address and said 14 days to get table to me. Asked if I would have my table by 1/14/22 and he said yes. I said, " Ok, if in 14 days, its cool I'll be fine with that." Austin replied, "For sure. That's going to happen. I'll make sure of that". Austin texts my cell phone on 1/15/22 saying its going to be a couple days later but he will provide me a tracking number and "delivered to my door within 5 days, give or take". I replied saying thank you and looking forward to it. I text 1/25/22 saying that 10 days have passed and no email or update has come in. No reply. I message him 2/2/22 asking him for a refund as to not have to pursue legal action in collection of a refund. Austin replied in 2 minutes saying that he is more than willing to refund me in full but he wants me to wait for him to sell his house and close in order to issue me a refund. I asked for refund now and no reply.
