ZERO stars, but I guess I had to chose 1! I took the bullet so hopefully no one else has to. Professional scammers who took my money without fixing the issue. Had to call another company to get the job finished. Do not call them. The technician with Bonney stood their with no shame in my house whilst its 100 degrees inside the since the A/C wasn't working and quoted me $12,000, yes $12,000! I was completely and utterly flabbergasted. Horrible experience. Do yourselves a favor and literally call anyone else but Bonney.Review from Donna M

They first came to look at thermostat. Tweaked the on/off switch. Charged $200! Called to ask for refund. Offered one free maintenance service on A/C unit. Today a young service person came at 8:30. It's nearly noon and they are demolishing both inside & outside A/C units! Do not trust or use this company! There is NOTHING WRONG with this unit AT ALL!Review from M.E. W

****** advertises on the front on the local directory. They are not the first service I called that advertises on front pages of the city business directory. In both instances I felt grossly taken advantage of. Two non-licensed plumbers arrived without masks even though this was requested during the appt setup. While in my home technicians were discourteous. I found they were not true to their word and did a sloppy job. Water was left. My dishwasher no longer works. A cup I was using (as evidence of it being on the opposite side of the sink with liquid in it) became an overfill holder. When I looked for it to take a sip, I saw they used it to catch liquid under the sink. It then became a joke that they used my drinking cup. I also found their jokes of COVID and ****** offensive. They didnt clean up and left dirt, sawdust and water under the dishwasher and on the floor. They were not forthcoming with the contract. They said I would have to sign a waiver to my right to cancel because work was being done that day. What was the scope of work? In sum two small leaks were repaired by changing out two turn off connectors. $1,200+! They then tacked on $300+ to connect my refrigerator line at the sink instead of where it was connected in back of the refrigerator. $1,500.00+ dollars with a second charge I did not agree to after I opted out of there annual contract. Oh and they damaged the faucet line with a crimp. They of course would replace it with a customer supplied product for an additional $300 (since they were already doing the work.) No thanks. I would if I could give them each less than a star. There should be more consumer protections in place!Review from Beth B

*******************************, electrical technician for Bonney, and his teams were absolutely incredible when they fixed multiple electrical issues in our old, but much loved house! They were on time, hardworking, courteous, and professional! ****** listened carefully to all of my concerns, gave several suggestions on how to fix each one, and then wrote me an estimate. ******'s communication skills were outstanding! He worked in my house several days and each time we did a walk through of jobs for the day and at the end of the day we did a walk through of what was completed. ****** always asked if I had any questions or wanted any clarifications. Clean-up by the whole crew was excellent! ****** has amazing leadership qualities along with a work ethic that is rare to find in this day and age! I highly recommend requesting ******************************* when hiring Bonney for an electrical job!Review from Jeannie R

Find someone else! On Sept 7, 2023 my mother (75 yrs) called Bonney our to repair a sprinkler valve. The technician proceeded to tell her that he also recommended she replace her main valve because it was "old", NOT because it was leaking or damaged but because it will eventually need to be replaced. My mom, who lives alone on a fixed income and worries about repairs, took this recommendation seriously and ended up with a $2,200 bill ($1200 parts and $1000 labor) This should have been a simple repair for a leaking sprinkler valve and I feel she was severely taken advantage of by the technician. In addition, the repair took this technician 10 hours during which her water was turned off. Furthermore, the technician billed her credit card without providing a receipt.)I have contacted Bonney 4 times with a request to speak with a manager and have been promised a call back that has not yet happened. There are many reputable companies out there but this is absolutely NOT one of them. I am appalled at their complete lack of integrity.Review from James S

On September 12, 2023, I called Bonney out to analyze my AC unit which was not operating properly. The weather was very hot and my fan was not coming on normally but I was able to get it to come on buy cooling it with hose water. The technician arrived and took a short time to check the system. He claimed the Capacitor had failed, which prevented the fan from coming on. He quickly replaced the capacitor and handed me an invoice with the trip charge ($99.00) and the description and the cost of the part (capacitor) $320.00. THE INVOICE DID NOT INCLUDE A LABOR CHARGE, so I assumed the $99.00 Trip Charge covered the labor since it only took minutes to replace the part. After the technician left, I went out and removed the side cover and took a photo of the capacitor he had just replaced. Days later I purchased two of the exact same capacitors from SuppyHouse.com for $17.90 and the other from ******* for $18.15. The part is simple to replace and I will do the job myself if it fails again! Bonney grossly overcharged me for the capacitor which probably cost them under $10.00!Review from ARAND G

TLDR: Water heater not working. $821 later, and it's still not working. I spend $15, replace the fuse, and it works. Bonney came out to fix my water heater. It stopped working suddenly. The plumber spent about 2 hours testing it, and after conferring with management, offered to replace the thermostat. $533 later and no change. I call them back and ask if it could be an electrical issue instead. They send out an electrician. $288 later, the electrician tells me the fuse is blown. Can't confirm if that was the issue- he's not a plumber. OK, no problem, how much to replace the fuse? $2,000 because some of the wiring is not up to code. He can't fix the fuse without fixing the wiring. Tries to upsell me on replacing all of the house's fuses for an additional $1000. I pass, buy the fuses and replace it myself. Works fine. My issue is twofold: 1. I hired Bonney to solve the problem, not to do specific work. I'm not an expert. That's why I'm willing to pay $800 to solve the problem. 2. How did the plumber not know that the fuse was the likely issue? He was not incompetent. I'm having a really hard time believing that a plumber wouldn't check the fuse, especially after spending so much time testing it.Review from Laura B

Attempted Fraud! Get a second Opinion!Sept, 2022 I had Bonney plumbing out for sewer cleanout and at the time a camera was sent down the main line to look for obstructions. The technician told me it was clear and saw no problems. Great news!Nov, 2022 only 2 months later, while I was hospitalized, my daughter who temporarily was staying at my home, called Bonney for overflowing toilet. Not knowing it was done 2 months earlier, she allowed a camera to be sent down the sewer line. However THIS tech told her there were major *********************** and gave an $12,000 est. for repair.Dec 28, 2022 I called a DIFFERENT company to send a camera down to check because I mistrusted the second Bonney report. The report showed no problems AND I was given a copy of the video for my records (Bonney never offered copy of either of the two videos). The cost for the third camera check was offset by $12,000 I saved on unneeded repairs recommended by a crooked Bonney technician. I recommend you not trust Bonney Plumbing without a second opinion.Review from Brian B
