I made a down payment of about 600 dollars to Maverick Electric for the installation of a generator. The generator broke twice, the finance " ***************** still wanted to charge me, my electrical panel was messed up because Maverick didn't install it correctly, so I ended up paying an electrician 325. To fix my breaker panel I want a refund of 600, and for my information and finance charges to be revoked. I do not want a broken generator. Furthermore, Maverick blocked me and my friend from calling them as well as my ability to email them about this matter. I want nothing more to do with Greensky or Maverick after my account is closed and I've been refunded.Business response

I have tried to respond multiple times on the BBB website but there is always an issue with it posting. I will respond here over email.Attached is the invoice she approved, pictures of the completed work and even a video I will explain shortly.We were called out to the customer's house to provide her with a price to supply her with a portable generator and all required electricity to hook it up to her house for power outages due to SMUD having bad power outages this winter from severe storms. She approved the work but needed financing, so we got her approved through Greensky for financing. We completed the work and have attached finished photos, which is strange because she sent in photos of wires hanging out of her panel, so she must have had a handyman or someone mess with her electrical system since we were there. We showed her how to use the generator and everything is working properly. she called back a few days later saying the generator no longer works, we immediately sent someone out and found out she left the generator outside in the rain and it flooded / burnt out the spark plugs. We explained to her we do not warranty user errors that damage the gernator but we brought it back to our shop, swapped spark plugs and got it operating again. We had a conversation with her again about how the work is warrantied but there is no warranty on a product we provided to her when she missues and destroys that product. The video attached is of our technicians delivery the generator back to her house and making sure everything is operational.She has tried to get a refund from the financing company but we have gone through the explanation with them and they have marked the charges as valid. The customer has called our office cussing out our office staff, and we have had to block her phone number. She goes to her neighbors houses and does the same thing, so we also have to block those phone numbers as well. As you can see form our ****** and yelp reviews, and we have not had another BBB complaint, we take care of customers and have already gone above and beyond for *********************************.Let me know if any further information is needed so we can remove this complaint once and for allFrom: ************************* <***************************************>
