I can only say good things about Spartan. The process was seamless. I went from paying $2,600.00 a year for electricity to -$1.87 at trueup.

After several months of dealing with of extremely high PG&E bills, I decided to look into Solar. I asked co-workers, friends and family about their solar experience. I contacted several companies and decided to go with Spartan Homes even though most of the companies are pretty close in monthly payments. The biggest reason for choosing Spartan Homes is they are a roofing contractor as well as solar company and if anything happened to my roof during the panel install or even after they would cover the cost of repairs. My experience with the Spartan Homes employees have been pretty good. They typically call me back regarding any questions I had during the application process and even prior to the installation process in a reasonable time. My only frustration is the time it took from application to the installation and onto final inspection took longer than I was hoping but Im not

I had a great experience with Spartan Home services. It started when a consultant from them named Forrest ****** came out to my home. He was knowledgeable and gave us a qoute for the replacement of our roof. He followed up when we asked him for financing options by referring us to a great credit union that allowed us to get the roof done. The work crew was fast and the work was top notch. The new roof looks great!

We were told about Spartan Home Services through a neighbor, they were never even on our radar for a roofer. We sat down with four other roofers and thought we had possibly made our decision, before sitting down with Spartan. **** ****** was our representative and he was absolutely amazing. He immediately put us at ease and we felt absolutely no pressure the entire time we spoke. Some of the other roofers were very pushy and it was a turn off. Their product was great and we liked the fact that the venting for the roof came straight out of tiles themselves as opposed to bulky metal vents all around. When **** left we quickly decided to go with Spartan. Spartan was not the cheapest of the quotes we received, nor were they the most expensive. They were right in the middle, but because of ****, his down to earth demeanor and the way he presented their product, it seemed like a no brainer to choose Spartan. The project started not too long after signing the contract. There were no major issues during the installation. Once the project was complete there were several inspections to make sure we were happy with the product. There were a few minor things that were fixed. The only negative thing I would say is, everywhere in the garage, beside the ground, was an absolute mess from the tear down of the old roof. Work bench, top of the refrigerator, rafters.. I am unsure of the expectation on cleanup for that sort of thing, so I dont know if that is a fair gripe. Either way, it wasnt a huge deal and the overall experience was great!

Michael, man what a great review. So appreciate you breaking it down that way, not only all the great, but the stuff we could use work on as well. Obviously we would love to give a perfect process to all our customers, but it rarely happens. This is how we learn and grow to continue improving for everyone in the future. Everyone was very friendly. Demo crew stripped the old shingles off in less than half a day. Roofers installed the new shingles and a roof jack for the master bath. They also pulled the fan duct up to the roof jack and connected it. Saved me from having to crawl in the attic and connect it myself. The new vent above the garage is hardly noticeable and all roof jacks are painted to match the new shingles.Great job!
