I went in the store to buy cigarettes, snacks and drinks. As I was grabbing donuts the employee yelled out loud in front of other customers dont steal the donuts and take the donuts out of my purse I turned around and said excuse me?what did you say? Are you talking to me ? But he ignored me so I asked the customer he helped and I said,was he talking to me! And the customer said,yes he was talking to me, then he left. So I said again loudly to the cashier,were you talking to me about stealing donuts, ? I didnt quite hear what you say? But he kept ignoring so I walked up the counter and said look , what are you accusing me of stealing donuts are you for real? Still holding the empty paper bag I was about to put the donuts into but I hadnt yet. I kept repeating myself getting angry for him to say again what he was saying. Then he said, do not steal the donuts open up your purse and let me see inside? I was shocked and right there and then I got angry and I opened up my purse wide and said, where is the donuts Im stealing from you? Where? I have never ever stolen before how dare this jerk accuse me of stealing donuts? Come on for real? Now Im pretty ****** off because he just didnt accused me he demanded me open up my purse. I have no problem because Im not a thief I have money to buy whatever I want to and never stolen before wtf. I spend so much money at this store for so many years and they know me as a regular how dare this new employee accuse me of stealing and donuts??? Wow. Im very upset and I want to *** them for accusing me of falsely stealing and humiliating me in front of customers. He should get fired for treating me this way discriminating. Hi, This is ********************* with Chevron gas station. This is regarding the complaint by customer ******** sorry for the late reply. I was away from work for a few weeks. I spoke to the cashier regarding this matter and he explained to me that when ******** came in he was taking other customers and he heard something where she was by the coffee and donut area so he asked what happened so she thought he was blaming her for stealing and got upset about it. I think this is just a misunderstanding by the Cashier and also the customer. She is always welcome to come back and the cashier will apologize for the misunderstanding. As a Manager I am willing to reach out to ******** and earn her business. Thank you!Customer response
