I am writing about my experience on every site that I can find. I have an appointment every 3 months at this facility. Appointments are scheduled 3 months in advance. I was told today (2 months since last appointment/1 month before upcoming appointment) that my appointment has been CANCELLED. My insurance has changed and they needed the current info. I told them I have not yet received my card in the mail (it is expected any day now). I BEGGED them not to cancel the appointment. I said I would cash pay full price over the phone TODAY (yes, I do understand how much that is). That's how desperate I was to keep the appointment. My pleas were denied and my appointment cancelled. Subsequently, I received a form via email that they wanted me to sign saying I agree to pay the cash price (DUH I just offered to do that exact thing over the phone). The form contained MANY incomplete/blank lines. A legally binding form should not be sent to someone for signature with incomplete lines. But because I was desperate for the appointment, I signed the form (which contained verbiage that says I was "not coerced"). What kind of a business (let alone a mental health facility) runs this way? I know the BBB wants to know if I am willing to share with the news media. The answer is YESBusiness response

I am not submitting a complaint to another department within Mindpath. If Mindpath wants someone from their ethcis department to resolve the complaint, they can do it via the BBB. There is no reason why my complaint can't be addressed here. I am also filing a complaint with the state medical board. And I have a ****** review written. I have not posted it yet because I was hoping we could resolve this before I posted something so public.
