My car was part of a recall and I was told by the dealership that my windshield needed to be replaced. This service was done at the service center of the dealership in September 2019. The windshield is having the same issue reoccurring now and was told by the service manager that the issue was originally thought to have been with the windshield but was not and was an issue with the glue and prime that the dealership was using. They stayed that although it is a know issue, because the repair had already been done by them under the recall and it had also been more than a year since the initial repair, they could no longer do the repair under any kind of warranty and I would need to pay out of pocket for the repair. They stated that nothing else could be done to help me even though they were aware of the problem and the cause. They instructed me to call *********** customer relations to see if they could do anything for me. I was told by them it was up to the dealership to help me if they wanted to and because I had "no brand loyalty" they could only offer me 20% off the cost of repair. This is a really frustrating experience as the issue was caused by the dealership repair center. They also no longer do glass repairs at their location and would outsource the job to a shop in the area.
