My daughter was mistreated and disrespected by her orthodontists. He caused her sever pain and emotional distress. She tried to tell him that he was hurting her and he did nothing to stop the process. The dental hygienists in the office verified the events that took place. My husband was advised that he treats all the teenager rudely and does not listen to them.Business response

****** came in on 8-29-2022 to the ************** because one of her lower brackets came loose. the attending Dentist replaced the bracket for her. He decided to change the lower wire to a new wire to close some gaps between her teeth and place an elastic c-chain between the teeth. After the procedure, ****** said it is very tight. The dentist told her it will get better in a few days. After the appt. the dentist informed the father that we changed the lower wire and there will be some discomfort. Later, the father came in again and said ****** was treated rudely by the doctor and wanted the doctor to apologize to the patient. The dentist apologized to her for the tightening and the pain caused her. Pt said OK and left without incident.
The dentist called ***************** at home that evening to check on Kalani. She said ****** is still in pain from the wire today. He informed **************** that it was the first time he saw Kalani today. Her regular ******* Dr. ******* had a family emergency. He re-bonded the loose bracket for ****** and proceeded to change the wire to the same gauge round SS wire as there are residual gaps that need to be closed in the lower arch. Looking back in hindsight, the dentist should have kept the same gauge wire for her and proceeded a little slower. he apologized to **************** and informed her we can replace the wire with the same gauge wire she came in with today. Mother said she would think about it and would let our Patient Advisor know.
