I had a walk in consultation with ************************* at Contractors state license school regarding getting my contractors license. ***** told me to give him a deposit by a certain time he would give me discount. I told him I would get back to him. I called him later that afternoon and told him I could put down $300 and he processed the payment over the phone. My current employer at the time heard about my inquiry and terminated my employment the next day which included turning in my work phone which was also my personal phone. At that point I would not have the income to afford to pay the $3000 for the license fees.It took a couple weeks but I was able to finally reacquire my phone number and went to see ***************** about refunding my $300. He told me no he would not refund my deposit. He gave a customer service number which ***************************** proceeded to tell me it was a binding contract and they will not be refunding my deposit. She instructed me to call my bank because it was a credit card payment and ask them to reimburse me.They kept my $300 deposit and want me to have my bank pay for it, I dont thats right any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
