Had a terrible experience there in which I was deceived and almost had a dangerous procedure done until the senior dentist stopped in upon my request and told the dental assistant not to put a ************* in my mouth. The assistant is the one who damaged the crown when scaling it down, and this could have been hazardous based on the metal alloy showing through the porcelain part. The dental office did not tell me that my dentist had left the practice (hmmmm, wonder why?), and that a dental assistant would be doing the crown replacement of the temp - which I would not have accepted. Very arrogant, rude, and with impunity that they do not tell you important information such as this. North Park Smiles also did not tell me that my dentist had left the practice - withholding vital information - and that the dental assistant would be doing this procedure (totally unacceptable and she botched the job!). This place is all about the money, and some staffers are rude and arrogant about it which I did not accept either and gave a really good piece of my mind about why they **** and I am filing complaints about their disgraceful, deceitful, disgusting and money-grabbing practices. This place needs to be investigated by regulators and beyond; there are numerous complaints about them regarding their incompetence, poor attitude and yet money-grabs which is a terrible trifecta and should keep any reasonable person away from this place - which is also in a dangerous area. Keep away from North Park Smiles - anywhere else is better. I have banned them, and am posting this here on the BBB site as a warning to other not to go there.

I had a truly terrible experience with this dentists office, and I feel compelled to share it to warn others. I had a dental procedure scheduled, and as instructed, I took the medication prescribed by ************ beforehand to prepare. Unfortunately, I arrived seven minutes late to my appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. Let me clarify that this was well within the courtesy time window they typically allow for tardiness.To my shock and dismay, ************ refused to see me despite my explanation of the situation. I even pleaded with the receptionist to convey the fact that I had taken time off work and was under the influence of a sedative that **** himself had prescribed for the procedure. However, my pleas fell on deaf ears, and **** adamantly denied my appointment without providing any valid reason or explanation.This level of callousness and lack of empathy is appalling, to say the least. As a patient, I expected to be treated with basic respect and understanding, especially considering the circumstances. Instead, I was met with indifference and disregard for my well-being.I strongly advise against trusting this dentist with your dental care. If they can't even accommodate a patient who arrives slightly late due to extenuating circumstances, then they clearly prioritize their schedule over the well-being and comfort of their patients. Save yourself the frustration and find a dentist who actually cares about their patients' needs.

Horrible experience, hands down the most frustrating experiences. I scheduled an appointment back in March for 9am and it was pushed back to 3pm after waiting an hour and a half they asked if I could come back at 3. I found a different dentist for that visit but I guess she scheduled the appointment. Yesterday when I had pain I tried to go back to North park smiles but was met with resistance for not showing up to the 3pm appointment in March after they waisted my time. Its unbelievable that the lady on the phone argued about normally notes are taken. Save your time and DO NOT COME HERE. Patients appointment mean nothing they are always behind and God forbid you miss an appointment, they will give you a hard time scheduling another. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, go to Orange Dental instead for a great dental experience. North Park smiles deserves ZERO stars.
