Zak Dental took over Dr. ********* DENTAL PRACTISE. I've continued my dental care with DR.*****(who previously worked in Dr. ********* DENTAL practice and haven't had any issues with him. ******** has been my husband's and my dentist for 40+ years and highly recommend him.Dr ***** and other dental specialists at Zak Dental do exceptional work and always make sure their patients are in good hands and happy with their work.Review from Brandy L

Is there a way to give a NEGATIVE STAR review? This office's standard operating procedure is to deceive, BEWARE. This office will steal your money. Briefly: initial DDS consult done via ZOOM (while you are sitting in their office!) and treatment plan "reviewed" with an office worker via ZOOM (does not tell/show/explain all items on tx plan) who then emails eDoc for you to sign; no appointments allowed to be scheduled until patient estimated fee is PAID IN FULL (upfront, and the office severely OVER E$TIMATE$ patient responsibility); hard sell on the Zak dental in-house insurance plans to "bring down your cost" - they will even try to slip it onto treatment plan without telling you-; this office does not submit all fees charged to patient to their insurance, leaving the patient to pay FULL price for services that should have been discounted, pay for individual services that are supposed to be bundled, and pay for UNNECCESARY or treatments NOT DONE. (Documented in emails with office manager ****** admitting this practice!); ***** Orthodontic contract is deceptive: there is a whole page of things "included in you treatment" (without price$) followed by "what's not included" (with price$): you are charged for ALL things included individually! "INCLUDED" does not mean "included in PRICE" [per ****, manager of **************** and if you decided you want to go to a different orthodontist you have to pay Zak an ADDITIONAL $2100 to transfer care: it feels like being held hostage! When insurance investigated my case they DEMANDED REFUND of close to $4000 of the $10,000 Zak scammed from me (it took a year to get) but they could not help me transfer care. So, we are hostages of Zak Dental and Orthodontics, unwilling to give this horrible practice another dime, for another 18 months!Review from JAMES F

I have complaints about this Dental office: I had x-rays done on 11/29/2022. 1 week later no results as promised. ************ was was supposed to call me in at 10:40 AM Dec. 6th, 2022; no phone call was received. Their call center was impossible to work through. After the 4th time I was finally able to get through. I voiced my grievance to the representative about ************, I promised to file a complaint with the BBB if he did not call today. I am doing that now. Another complaint about ************ is the way they had to do the x-rays. It was Abusive and torture; what I mean by this is that the technician had a big camera and started flashing several photos in my face also, shoving a mirror in my mouth and I could not breathe and last but not least using plastic forks to stretch my cheeks apart so he could get the photos taken. As a patient I don't want anyone else to go through this. ************ should be on site not outsourced to who knows where.Customer Response

I am very disappointed that this has not been addressed and corrected. *** wrote to me that you would contact me in 3 to ******************************************* **********. I am still very concerned about myself or other patients of ********** being forced to go through the the pain, discomfort and abuse during the xray process endured by me. Please follow up with me ASAP. This is unacceptable!!!Review from Patricia R

Orthodontist service is terrible. Have had braces on since Dec 2020 for two front bottom teeth, still not straight!!! Have gone through maybe 3 different orthodontists. Appointments are about a 1 to 1 1/2 month wait. Do not miss an appointment because re-scheduling is a long wait. I believe they only schedule braces on Saturdays. Need more doctors and more days. I think they have more than they can handle. Getting a hold of a manager over the phone? I have been leaving messages for over a week!!! Do not go here.
