I bought a Ram Promaster ** from La Mesa RV in **********, ** in 2022. I have had continued electrical problems. I have had the ** in their Service Center for 6 weeks and all they can tell me is it is the battery and they are having trouble getting one. I inquired with the battery company, ******, and was told that they are having a "quality control problem, and have no batteries available." I told ****** and they said they knew nothing about it. So I got them to call and they said yes you are right. One service person, ****, said they would get me a different one but my warranty did not cover it so they would have to contact the warranty company. I heard nothing for several days. I called him and asked him what was going on. He told me they were sending a new battery and it would be here early next week. That was a week ago so I called and was told they "have no answer for me." I spoke to the manager of the service center and he said I definitely have a legal issue but there has been no one to call or speak to. I have called numerous LaMesa Phone #'s and only get an answering machine and when I leave a message no one calls back..

I purchased a new 2024 ****** ****** ** on 6/12/24. I was promised and have in writing that this ** would be repaired, as it was delivered to me extremely damaged. After having the ** sit in service for well over a month, the service that I have paid for has still not been completed, including the interior eckbond coating. On top of that, repairs were not completed in a satisfactory way.I have reached out to this dealership and have yet to receive a response after several emails and several months have gone by. I am requesting these repairs to be done correctly, as well as the service that I have paid for and did not receive. Otherwise, I would like to be compensated for these damages, so that I may take this to a service/repair center that will do this job correctly.

I purchased a brand new recreational vehicle Fifth Wheel Make Heartland, Model Bighorn from ******* on May 5th, 2022. Immediately upon delivery to my property, it was not working properly. All of the issues were reported and the business tried to blame it on user error at first and then repaired some of them. It was also discovered that the vehicle was altered with in the underbelly as the bottom was cut open and resealed but they claimed they sold me a brand new vehicle which is deceitful. I don't feel safe to accept their word for repairs because as brand new it had electrical wires crossed, battery almost exploded and it is not safe for myself or any other future buyer. Within 6-8 months, there were so many more major issues such as roof leaking, hydraulics malfunction, plumbing falling apart and flooding the underbelly that it had to be delivered to *************** in **************** (March 4th, 2023). They have not been able to properly repair it since then. Therefore, I have not had the ** in my possession since then which is over a year and a half. I am paying for the loan for something I don't have. When they reached out in November 2023 advising, they completed partial repairs, I requested to bring the vehicle to its brand new condition as it was purchased. They have since not been able to do so or responded to my request. I asked for a refund however they have declined. It is unacceptable for a business to sell a brand new products that they continuously advertise as something great to buy to consumers when it is completely false. I have a lot of files of evidence and now its September 2024 and I still don't have the vehicle, I have no clue what condition it is in as the staff completely ignored my request and does not communicate. This is absolutely outrageous that a business is treating a consumer like this, and basically took my money for completely broken vehicle that I don't even have. BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased a 2024 Entegra Launch on June 29, 2024 at *********, La Mesa RV. As I was driving home I stopped at *********************** (about 45 minutes down the road) to get some fuel and noticed the house battery was not being charged by the secondary alternator. I then stopped in ******** about 1.5 hours away and noticed the house battery still was not charging on my way home. I called ***** tech troubleshooting and they told me the unit needed to go in for warranty service. They said the alternator should charge the house battery when the engine RPM is over 1.5 RPM. I was basically sold a defective unit that does not charge the house battery when driving. I contacted the service department and I am grateful that he took it in quickly so repairs could be made. I took it in July 5th and as of 9-1-24 it has not been fixed. I feel La Mesa RV should at least pay the by monthly bill or prorated amount for the time I have been without my **. They never should have sold me a defective ** to begin with. I contacted La Mesa about this on 8-29-24 but am still waiting for an adequate response. I purchased the ** because I had to put my mother in a home 55 miles away from where I live. I visit her 2-3 times a week. I was sleeping in my car while visiting my mother and decided to purchase an ** to make life easier. This is no way to treat a retired military member who served 2 combat tours in ****.

We purchased a 2023 **** Omni with only 2200 miles on it. The sales associate and manager promised us that our experience would be different than last time. This is our second ** purchase from La Mesa RV that we were promised at delivery that the ** was going through a 300 point inspection. On our 1st trip we had the following issues wrong with it: an open recall, cabinets above sink doesn't close, 1st bottom large drawer doesn't stay close, power outlets don't work on dinette, power outlets don't work on the power tower, warning lights on dash: service advance track, pre-collision alert, hill start not available, cab batteries were faulty, inverter didn't work, ice maker works, but wasn't hooked up, trim above refrigerator was lost by service, then re-ordered but wrong color, now we are in limbo, radio in bedroom defective, bottom of door off track, the ** takes almost 45 mins to fill up because fill house is mounted incorrectly.

Thank you for this correspondence. This customer purchased a used motorhome from ******* in June 2024. The unit comes with a 15-*********** Warranty (engine, transmission, rear end) issues. On May 2024 I purchased a brand new 1500 ***** Pocket RV. An RV that I had been saving the down payment for for over five years. We are now at the end of August 2024 and I have only been able to drive the ***** on two occasions. The first occasion was to **** where my power steering went out on me. I called ******* and they referred me to ****** Dodge. ****** Dodge looked at it and did not diagnose an issue. Second trip to **** and power steering goes out on me again. This time ****** Dodge diagnosed a failure with the *** (elec. power steering) and Pinion Assembly. These parts are on back order and currently going on four weeks and still waiting. Called La Mesa RV on more that one occasion to see what they could do for me. There was nothing they would do for me on their end. So, basically I have a 90K dollar van sitting in my driveway that I cannot drive and having to make monthly payments at an extremely high interest rate, but La Mesa got their money so good luck to me. I asked La Mesa to take the van back and give me another one, but they would not do this. I asked for them to do something to make me whole but they would not budge. I am extremely disappointed with La Mesa and how little they care about their customers once they are out the door. I did write corporate an email but their attorney again wanted nothing to do with what I am going through and referred me to Dodge.

      Good morning,

Thank you for your correspondence. We are sorry to hear of these issues! ***** is the appropriate party to resolve chassis issues. Pursuant to documentation signed at the sale, the customer's sole recourse for manufacturing and design issues with the chassis is the chassis manufacturer--Dodge. Accordingly, we encourage the customer to contact Dodge corporate care for assistance.

WE purchased a ************ Solitude the end of April, finally was able to take delivery on 5/24. At time of delivery we were told everything was in good working order including the ac's, refrigerator, and all other appliances. On 5/30/2024, the ac's were no longer working. We called the dealer and they told us that they wouldn't do anything to help. So we purchased the two ac's (front and rear) and had them installed ourselves. Since we had just purchased the 5th wheel, I would have expected some type of assistance. I would be happy with a $2000.00 refund. But, so far, as of today, we have not received any calls and/or assistance with this situation. LaMesa RV do not care about their customers after they get your money. This whole transaction was a cluster from day one.

      07/05/2024

      Good morning,

Thank you for your message. We have reviewed this claim. This 2017 unit was sold used, meaning it does not come with a manufacturer's warranty. This unit was sold with a 15-day limited warranty that covers engine, transmission, and rear-end issues only. Records indicate the unit was serviced and inspected prior to sale. While it is regrettable the customer encountered issues with the unit subsequent to the sale, there is no basis for ******* to cover this claim. However, La Mesa may consider offering some goodwill assistance to this customer as a customer satisfaction gesture and will reach out to her next week to discuss.

      Regards,

July 2023 I purchased the *** Please note my deep dissatisfaction with the quality and service I have experienced with my recent purchase of the 2023 Launch Van. Despite the high expectations set by ************* Coach's reputation, I regret to say that my experience has been overwhelmingly negative.Since purchasing the van from La Mesa RV in July 2023, I have encountered numerous issues that indicate poor manufacturing quality. Specifically, the problems include but are not limited to:1. 12 V *********** failure over 90 days to repair-no A/C, refrigerator, or lights inside for camping as an example 2. Awning failure and stuck on extended mode camping and issues with the interior door fittings, poor build quality, water sensor not accurate 3. Safety recall on ***ion battery fire hazard NTSB 2024 In addition to these quality issues, the *************** I have received when attempting to address these problems has been unsatisfactory. Despite multiple attempts to contact your customer service team, I have experienced delays, inadequate responses, and a general lack of resolution to the problems. I have postponed several camping trips which is frustrating. LMRV has had my van for over 90 days and till the power system repair is not done.Given these significant issues and the inconvenience they have caused, I believe a full refund of my purchase is justified. I have lost confidence in the product and the ability of ************* Coach to rectify these issues satisfactorily. In addition, LMRV is in the business of high-volume RV sales and is unable to service the after-sale product.

      Good morning,

Thank you for your query. We're sorry to hear of these issues. La Mesa is happy to provide some key information that wasn't mentioned in the original post. La Mesa has explained to the customer that required components for his coach are taking ***** days to fulfill due to supply issues. As of this morning, this customer's coach is now complete, and it is ready to be picked up and enjoyed. The service team has kept the customer informed, and will contact him today to let him know the coach is ready for his pickup.

Regarding the customer's request for a refund, La Mesa corporate members have explained already via email (before this post was written) that all sales are final, and the customer should take up his claim with *******/*****, the manufacturer of the coach. This is because customer sign paperwork agreeing that their sole remedy for design or manufacturing issues lies with the manufacturer.

We stand ready to assist with warranty issues. Fortunately, this coach is complete and ready to be enjoyed.

      Kindest regards,

No notification was sent from the business today as of this writing. This is the first time that I heard it was confirmed repaired. I also disagree with the supply chain issue comment. The 12v power system failed in February and a separate issue form the **** battery fire recall.

Contacted La Mesa RV via their website which offers to buy your RV. Contacted by representative of La Mesa RV who made an offer to purchase my RV. We agreed to a price and ****** sent me forms to fill out. I filled out and returned and they agreed to purchase RV. Next day after being told employee was processing the payment, I was told by employee and his Manager and the owner of La Mesa RV would not honor the purchase contract as La Mesa was making a large purchase from RV builder and wouldn't pay the agreed to contract price. They then offered $6,000 less than the agreed to price to purchase RV. Looking for assistance having La Mesa RV honor the signed contract. They evidently do not care if their reputation is tarnished. Not an honest company to deal with

      Customer response

      06/21/2024

La Mesa continues to claim that I have been contacted by a corporate contact which is false.  I was only contacted by the original buyers agent who said he had been told that ****** had decided to honor the original purchase contract.  On the day of the transaction I found that ****** had decided to cut the funds transfer by $5,000 in an attempt to get me to accept the lower offer.  After my refusal and several hours of waiting for actual funds transfer, the correct amount was finally paid and I consider this matter closed.  This in no way alters the fact that LaMest is a totally dishonest company and will use any means to take advantage of a customer
