i've rented from kyte many times and it's been the most affordable option in my city, even over turo for the most part, particularly when you pick it up an drop it off yourself as well (not sure if every location offers this as an option though). i love that their drop off time is flexible, you have up to 2 hours after your booking ends before you get charged. they usually offer discounts often as well after a few bookings. if you want to save $30 on your first trip you can try mine - jessicaf6Review from John M

I am highly disappointed in this robbery of a company. After renting the car, I went to return it and washed it and detailed it to make sure it was very clean for the next person. When I returned it the employee did a walk around and said it was great, took pictures and I expected to receive My deposit but instead they decided to keep it and said I caused damages which was not the case. They kept 500$ from Me and said they would be in contact and I have yet to hear from them and tried contacting them and there's no number for "claims" I do not recommend this company to anyone and they are running a scam with hard working customers. Hopefully they will reach out soon but I would not advise anyone to rent from them.Review from ERIK M

My Wife and I were in ************* for our 29th Anniversary. On Saturday 8/10 morning we decided we wanted a one day car rental for Monday (Actual Anniversary) so we could drive across the ******************, and play in *********. We noticed Kyte Car Rental was in the next block over. I downloaded the app, put in all of my info, downloaded my drivers license and booked a mid-sized car for Monday 8/12/24 @ 8am. I should say, I have a clean driving record, over 800 credit score, and am 54 years old. On 8/11/24, they asked if I wanted to pay $5.65 more for a nicer car (Audi Q3), so I said sure and gave the authorization for that. I woke up @ 7am on 8/12/24 to get ready to go get the car, and saw an email received @ 03:00 on 8/12/24 that said: Upcoming Trip Cancellation (you do not meet our eligibility requirements). It's fine that you don't want my money, but don't cancel my rental 5 hours before the pick-up basically ruining my day... Luckily we found a local company with an available car (City Car Rental), and they worked like a car rental company should... Kyte Car rental is a joke (not a funny one)... Zero Stars. Booked a car one month in advance and on the day of, I had to call then at the time they were supposed to deliver (9 AM) and find out where the car was- only to be told they would not be able to deliver one until 5 PM that day. While they did refund my money, I had to scramble to find an Uber, etc., to take us. I asked that they pay for the ubers- they refused and gave me a credit on their site- which I will NEVER use again. PLEASE avoid at all cost.Review from Lesley P

Ive been continuously renting through **** for three years. I have a beautiful Audi Q3. Their customer service is like no other. I can do everything through the app. I never have to pick up the phone. I can chat with their representatives and take care of everything. Their rates are the cheapest And their whole process from beginning to end is like no other company. They are completely ahead of everybody else as far as technology and convenience. *** had a car loan in the past And I never wanna do that again those car dealers are no good they take advantage of people like me with little credit history and desperate for a car gave me a loan that I would be paying for years and years well beyond the life of my car. Luckily, my car had broke down under warranty so I got out of that but had that not happened I wouldve been toast. This is what lead me to renting. I started with Turo, but that became a big pain that is not a service for a long-term renter and it gets so expensive. Kyte gives me a luxury imported suv And refunds me for all maintenance and care that I do to the car And then when its time for them to retire, the car I get a brand new year model. You definitely need to have the funds if youre going to do long-term renting through Kyte But I highly recommend looking into it and seeing if it works for you, its been a blessing for meReview from ASHER N

It's the worst company i've ever used, they will cancel your car a minute before your booking have to start for no reason at all, they have 0 costumer service. USE KYTE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!Review from Veronica R

I recently had a rental with them while waiting for my vehicle to be repaired. I kept the vehicle for approximately 33 days which I paid over $1,600. Upon the return of their vehicle and the condition in which it was provided, I expected to receive my $500 deposit. Now they're telling me that the vehicle has damage that did not occur during my rental, but they're trying to attribute it to me. I have currently been waiting for business days for the claim department to email me about damage that did not occur during my rental. Was initially thrilled when I found such amazing prices in *********** when I used the service. Recently had a one day rental from ******** (********) to ***********Was horrified to find that they added charges totaling far more than the original rental I assumed it was some sort of credit card authorization that had not been resolved.Although I specifically checked the box to get an unlimited miles package, customer service insisted that I had not selected.After a few dispassionate responses, I was told that not only was I in the wrong, but that nothing would be done. I refuse to ***** any business to any the customer is always wrong or at least lets wear them down until its not worth their effort to get a deserved refund for overcharged ancillariesIm very disappointed, as their initial customer service was promising. I do not expect a company that takes this attitude toward customers to last very long.Review from John f

I got a email that my account got closed for creating multiple accounts, after trying to get to talk to someone they sent me 5 email addresses what has the same name as me so that's the reason why they closed my account (I guess there's 1 person with each name) I tried to contact them multiple times that they should look into each account on their license and they'll see that it's different ppl but they just blocked me from contacting them.........
