      I PURCHASED THE **** MICROFILLING *** IN SHADE #5 FROM BENEFIT COSMETICS WEB SITE ON SALE FOR $19.00 ON JAN 17, 2024. I USED THE **** FOR THE FIRST TIME APPROX 10 DAYS AGO DUE TO THE **** THAT I WAS USING OTHER **** PRODUCTS FROM THE COMPANY. THE LIQUID WASN'T COMING OUT OF THE *** AS ILLUSTRATED IN THE STORE. I CONTACTED THEIR CUST SERV ON 5/13/24. I SPOKE WITH ****** WHO STATED THAT THE PRODUCT WAS DEFECTIVE, BUT COULDN'T REPLACE IT, BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN MORE THAN 60 DAYS SINCE PURCHASE. SHE STATED THAT SHE COULDN'T MAKE AN EXCEPTION. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A ****, & WAS TOLD THE **** WOULD TELL ME THE SAME THING, BUT SHE WOULD FORWARD MY REQUEST. LATER THAT EVENING I REC'D AN EMAIL FROM THE ****, ************** STATING THE SAME, & A 10% DISCOUNT CODE. I REPLIED EXPLAINING THAT I WAS UNAWARE OF THE RETURN POLICY, BECAUSE I ASSUMED THE **** WAS IN WORKING CONDITION. ************** REPLIED WITH THE SAME RESPONSE. I REPLIED THAT I WASN'T INTERESTED IN PURCHASING ANOTHER *** TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE *** THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR THAT I WAS UNABLE TO USE THE VERY FIRST TIME. THE OFFER OF 10% WAS RATHER INSULTING. THE *** WAS ON SALE FOR $19.00, BUT THE ORIGINAL PRICE IS $26.00. I DON'T FEEL THIS IS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR SOMEONE WHO IS A PATRON OF THEIR PRODUCTS. AS STATED BY THEIR CUST SERV REP THE **** SOLD WAS DEFECTIVE, & I WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE A NEW, OPERABLE ONE. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE HAD AN ISSUE WITH THEIR PRODUCTS.

      ORDER #: BT03177706 Date ordered: Dec 23, 2023 A few days after placing my order, I remembered I was allergic to something in Benefit's eye makeup products. I sent an email asking that my order be cancelled and why. I was told my order had shipped and could not be cancelled. I soon received a shipment notification. Fact: The order actually did not ship until 6 days later. When the order arrived, I opened the package so I could complete the return information, I re-sealed the mailer, and paid for the return postage MYSELF.I was never notified that my return had been received on Jan 8th. So, having to contact customer service myself, I was told my refund would be processed and I would receive an email with refund status. Fact: One week later, no email. When I attempted to reply to the Benefit email, it was bounced back due to their mailbox being full. As of this writing, their mailbox is STILL FULL and not accepting messages. As a side note, on their website I noticed it has not been copyright updated since 2021. So then I really started to worry about what I thought was a reputable business.Through the Benefit website, I have contacted them 4 more times asking why it is taking so long for my refund to be processed. Each response has been scripted down to the last word. Apparently, the hold-up is all the "warehouse's" fault, and I was told to continue waiting for what appears to be an elusive refund email. When I attempted to call the only 800 number they have, their auto system hung up on me.With no honest customer service, and no corporate contact information being available, I don't know what else to do. I have no product AND no refund. I am on a limited income and would like my money back.

      Benefit Cosmetics illegally targeted my poshmark account and threatened to not only potentially *** me, but also had poshmark threaten to have my poshmark account shut down. This was all because I was trying to resell one of their products that I legitimately bought from Ulta. They trolled my account on poshmark and then complained to poshmark that I was infringing on their copyright. They then forced poshmark to not only remove my listing of their product on my account, but then poshmark put a warning on my account and threatened to remove my account from poshmark completely! They had no right legally to bully someone who legally purchased one of their legitimate products and tried to resell it. The ************* ************* recently made a decision called "the first sale doctrine". The first sale doctrine states that once a tangible copyrighted work (or something with copyright in it) is sold lawfully the first time, the original copyright owner no longer has rights over the physical item. After that, the buyer can do whatever he or she wants with it *************, donate it, whatever. I feel that Benefit Cosmetics specifically targeted me without any legal basis and I think that people should know that Benefit Cosmetics is illegally targeting customers and attempting to bully them into only being able to purchase their products directly from them by illegally inhibiting a consumers right to resell their legitimately purchased products. They literally had no legal right to threaten to *** me, over allegations of copyright infringement that were completely unfounded, and to have poshmark threaten to remove my longstanding account with them.^^^This happened for a second time just today.... 2 YEARS LATER. BENEFIT STOP TARGETING TINY BUSINESSES THAT BUY YOUR PRODUCT LEGITIMATELY AND THEN CHOOSE TO RESELL IT. WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS ILLEGAL AND JUST PLAIN UNETHICAL. STOP INFRINGING ON MY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER!!!!

      I purchased a cosmetic product from their website. Benetint that is labled for "lips and cheeks". Well I used it on my lips and got a bad reaction causing my lips to burn, get extremely dry and eventually chap to the point they hurt. I reached out to their customer service and was told to return the product and that I would have to pay for return shipping. I let them know that I didn't feel that it was right for me to have to pay for return shipping for a product that caused me such a reaction. The reply I received was that Benefit "Benefit does not test for or claim that our products are hypo-allergenic (least likely to cause an allergic reaction)". So they basically do not stand by their product and offer no assistance. I'm glad to send back their terrible product but to take time out of my day and PAY to send it back is a complete waste of time. The customer service rep obviously did not care or try to help. I have never had a company provide such terrible customer service. Most companies stand by their product or provide assistance if there is a issue. Benefit just provided excuses and had no care to help a customer who paid for their product. I will not be purchasing from them again.

      I purchased the Benefit Sample Box via their online website on August 14th, 2023. Advertised with the purchase was a $40 site credit with the other samples of mascara, blush bronzer etc. which I was excited about because I love and currently use Benefit cosmetics and figured I could restock on some of my favorites and was planning on spending more. It said the credit would be sent via email 7 days after my purchase which would have been August 21, 2023. When I did not receive the credit I reached out inquiring, they told me to reach out again on August 24th. On August 31st, I reached out and told them the whole situation, I hadn't received anything. They told me to check my spam/junk folder (which I had done) and that they would have to escalate it and someone would reach out in 3-5 business days. It has now been 27 since my purchase and I am completely dissatisfied with Benefits customer service. I get that I am a small piece of their major puzzle and probably don't matter but if something is advertised with a purchase, I expect to get what I paid for. I have also attached all the email correspondence.

      I just received a package from an order I placed last week. I purchased 6 eye creams from its Office website (********************************************) and believe they are fresh. They sell them in original price. However, I checked the expiration date and found that they were produced in 2020, and they will expire in December this year. The products are not fresh. I would like to return the 3 of them. They refuse to provide me prepaid return label and want me pay the shipping fee. The expiration date is so close. If the products are in good date, Ill be happy to keep all. I emailed the customer service, they just replied me return policy twice. I chatted online, the agent was very rude, sent me the return policy and closed the chat window unilaterally. I just want to return part of them since the expiration date is so close.
