I am filing a formal complaint regarding Eventbrites delay in releasing my event payout, which has caused significant financial inconvenience. I hosted an event for the launch of my business on September 21, 2024, through Eventbrite, expecting prompt receipt of funds as part of the service outlined in Eventbrites payout terms. However, the funds were only released on October 28, well beyond the reasonable timeframe for a post-event payout.Throughout this period, I repeatedly reached out to Eventbrite for updates on the payout but received no meaningful explanations or compensation for the delay. This delay severely impacted my business operations, as I was unable to cover expenses, resulting in accumulated late fees and a financial strain on my business. T he delay contradicted Eventbrites promises regarding payout timelines, which directly led to financial disruptions beyond my ********** response to my concerns, Eventbrite stated that I would not be eligible for a refund on service fees, as the event was completed. While I understand that fees typically cover ticketing, payment processing, and platform usage, I believe the delay in providing the payout constitutes a breach of service and warrants compensation.I am seeking assistance from the Better Business Bureau in resolving an issue with Eventbrite, that has causes damages to my business and livelihood, resulting from the financial strain caused by their significant payout delays. Additionally, I want to highlight a key issue: Eventbrite lacks a direct customer support line, which made it even more challenging to address this matter in a timely manner. My goal is to not only reach a fair resolution but also to provide feedback on an aspect of their service that has impacted my experience as a business client.
