  On October 5, 2023 I signed a contract with Amazon Direct Publisher in the amount of $499.00 USD. This company billed me under "AMZ Publishing" on the same date. The contract was to proofread, format, and cover design an original poetry collection for publication on Amazon, *************** and Kindle. This agreement was completed and sent to "*********************". I was initially promised that the project would be completed for holiday shoppers and be available before the New Year 2024. This never happened due to the failure of Amazon Direct Publisher sending me back my manuscript for approval. It is my belief that every and all delays were merely to pass the 60-day credit card dispute window. They dragged out my project indefinitely, provided incomplete proofreading, and low-quality/unusable cover options (hastily developed using AI). After multiple project delays and then complete abandonment since January 31st, I self-published the book completely independently. None of the project scope listed in the contract was completed by them. The project manager, "***************************", fully ignored all correspondence via phone, text, and email. Her last communication was on March 1st, ******************************************************************************************************* This never happened.I was only contacted by a different project manager, "***********************", after filing a credit card dispute on the original charge several weeks later. This company markets themself as if they are Amazon KDP affiliated and work under the umbrella of Amazon, itself. This company offered me a future discount of services that I will never use, because they are unprofessional and incapable of delivering a finished product. People email you from various email addresses, use Amazon logos and imagery, and have never met the contract agreements. I am seeking a full and complete refund from AMZ Publishing and/or Amazon Direct Publisher, or whatever name they are deciding to use today.

  AmazonDirectPublisher.com contacted me regarding book publishing. We agreed on a price of $800. Three payments were made to them by me on March 3rd, 23rd, and April 4th, 2023, for a total amount of $800 under a merchant name of AMAZSERVICESDIGITAL with phone number **************. After that, three people contacted me during April and May. They were Mr. ************************ ************************ and Mr. ******************** Each time the conversation ended up centering around further attempts to use pressure sales of additional services to make me pay more additional money. I was constantly harassed by Mr. *********************** in particular and shamed. No effort was made to follow up on the book draft I sent them. I was finally exhausted and realized I had been taken for a ride. At that point, I demanded a refund of the amount I had paid. From then on, I made numerous contacts to contact them, but no one was ever available. Email attempts failed as well. I also tried contacting them on **************** Chat on their website, but no one ever responded. I desperately searched for their ************ address on the website but failed to find any location by that name. Finally, I am contacting BBB not only to recover damages but also to make the general public aware of this fraudulent activity going on in this area.
