We left a deposit of $500.00 in March for a bar top, we were promised delivery in two weeks, As yet, still have not received what we ordered, calls and texts are ignored, we just want our deposit back, tired of his lies and lack of communication.Initial Complaint

On March 16th 2024 *************************** with J&S Barrels Slabs and Metals agreed to make a custom desk/table for me. I paid him $900 through Zelle to start this custom reject for me. He told me this would be an easy project and it would take 4 to 6 weeks to complete. **** also told me he would be sending me photo updates to make sure product was turning out correctly. It is now well past the 4 to 6 week delivery ***** Juans communication through out this entire process has been lacking to say the least. I would ask regularly for any kind of updates with no responses. I reach out via text, call, email and social media site. I feel completely ghosted by this business. I have asked several time over the last week for a refund so that I can find someone else to do the work but I have not received a single response. If you need any more information on your end please let me know. I attached the text threat that **** and I had. At this point the only thing I am looking for is a refund of my $900 dollars.Initial Complaint

On 4/30/2022, I paid you $1239.00 to ************** the owner of the business from the total cost of $2400.00 via my credit card for two barrels round tabletops, two logos, and two-barrel fire pit with a metal frame and locking wheels. ************* never provided and update or the requested merchandise. After several weeks ************* told me he had completed the order and I could pick it up. On 5/13/2022 I drove to ************* place of business a three hours' drive to********************* ****************** to pick up my order. Halfway to his location I sent him a text message at 12:03.00 PM stating the following: "I be there in one to one and half hours." He call me around 12:59:00 PM to let me know they were some issues with my order and he was not in the office and out of town . I told him why you didn't contact my before and allowed me to drive a six hour round trip drive and you are not in the office even though you knew I was on my way, and I text you halfway into my trip an hour ago to let you know I was on my away. I told him to please send me a text message with what you said, what is wrong with my order and photos of what you have done. Nevertheless, he said yes, I will send it to you; however, he did not send me anything. I requested a refund however, he has not refunded my money or provided any evidence he has done the job.Business response

My Bank decide to give me a credit since the merchandise did not respond to the chargeback.
