Today I ordered fish.And I ordered chickenThe employee put my fish and chicken in the same container My wife is allergic to fishThis cross contamination.And not acceptable..Had to take wife to hospital..from her reaction I told manager and he replied its not his fault.krispy krunchy chicken in Romulus mi on euruka rdBusiness response

Dear **** ** name is ************************* and I am the Manager of Krispy Krunchy chicken & pizza in ***************************************. I received your letter regarding the complaint from the customer named *************************** that our location mix the chicken with the fish. First of all ********* address is the ******** and we are in ************** area. At the bottom of the letter he mentioned that the location is in the Romulus MI on euruka rd, looks like that's not our location's complaint. Krispy Kruchy Chicken is a franchise they have too many locations in the *** and every location is individually owned by different owners.

Oder #******** Amount of Purchase $46.10 Friday March 24, 2023, @3:37 pm, I placed an order for delivery two hours prior to it being delivered. I received an email addressed to someone else stating that the item was no longer available. I replied stating that I had received the email however, it was addressed to someone else. I asked for a phone number to contact this restaurant. I was confused as to why an email was being sent rather than receiving a phone call to notify the customer if there was an issue with an order. However, I did not receive a contact phone number they did not provide one therefore, I contacted Krispy Krunchy Chicken, who the order was placed through. The representative placed me on hold, contacted the restaurant and came back to assure me that the order was being prepared to be sent out within that twenty minutes and also informed me that the email was a mistake and NOT meant for me. After the time in which the order should had been received came and went, I contacted Krispy Krunchy Chicken again, The representative placed me on hold and when returning to the phone, informed me that she could not reach anyone and provided me with a number to contact them which I did. The owner told me that the email sent earlier was meant for me and that they were out of a food item purchased. He agreed to substitute it for another food item and informed me that he would get it out as soon as possible, that he would prepare it at that time. TWO HOURS LATER, the delivery was attempted however because it was way beyond the cut off time for outside food deliveries, it was not allowed; accepted. The owner/son explained that the mistake was on the part of himself/the restaurant because they messed up the order and had to replace it. He went as far as also stating that a refund would be provided. Upon trying to reach the restaurant a few times I was unable to reach the owner. I also contacted Krispy Krunchy Chicken who refused a refund.Business response

I did write the letter for you and attached with this response. Customer asking settlement that she need refund but the customer paid directly to the Slice App and she can ask refund from Slice then Slice can contact **. I am rejecting this response because:
The order was placed through Krispy Krunchy Chicken. In addition to placing the order through this merchant, ***** was contacted contacted.. It is not (my) the customers responsibility to go back and forth between the two merchants to have money returned to me that they are not entitled too; who should have established business practices within their partnerships to ensure efficient customer service. It is the responsibility and deligence of the merchant to provide quality customer service and practices especially involving paid goods not received.

The food order was given to the Slice App for food delivery and customer service paid directly to the Slice App, the restaurant is getting paid by Slice after their delivery charges. Since the customer paid directly to the Slice, now the customer can ask the Slice to get their money back. I'm going to attach the copy of the letter which I uploaded on your website.

I am rejecting this response because: In my best interest it will eliminate the personal stress and time consumption of trying to recoup money owed to me from a company who can simply refund the customer and seek that cost from their partner and affiliate if it is that affiliate who profited. Therefore seeking assistance by bringing this matter to the attention of the ************************* ***************** well as the ****** of ******** Protection and if need be, County Clerk Small Claims.
