Contracted with this company to provide a service which involved using their system for prospecting, email outreach, calls, tasks, and establishing contacts/meetings with target customers in the **** Initial meetings with the company representatives were quite impressive but in reality, they do not have the ability to provide the promised results. During the course of our initial 3 months working with this company, our company provided all the details required to do an effective search. The outcome of their 'work' ended up being pathetic... in fact, they asked us to provided access to our own paid search tools (D&B ******), which would have resulted in additional expense beyond what we were already paying them on a monthly basis. They clearly do not have the 'as advertised' tools to do effective prospecting. When we asked to have a phone conversation to discuss the results of their effort, we were told that no phone numbers could be provided and that the only contact we could have would be by email or Zoom call.

I hired PersistIQ for Sales Outreach in the **************** using a cold email strategy. I had indicated that if we were successful I would be interested in trying other markets. The contract was for 6 months but had a caveat that if they didn't produce a meeting in the first three months I could cancel the agreement early. After 1 month they asked if they could expand the service to DC market. I initially asked if they could target local nonprofits instead but they said they needed more business leads to optimize the ongoing campaign. To date, they have sent over 8K emails that have resulted in 2 "meetings." The first was a DC crypto firm with a budget of $250. The second was a bank owner in ************ who wanted to meet to have coffee and network - zero interest in any kind of video work. Based on performance, I asked to cancel the agreement at the 3 month period. They proceeded to use these two lame meetings as justification for enforcing the full contract.

I hired this company in February 2022 for their lead generation services for $1500 a month. It took them three weeks to even start my service, and after my campaign was running for 4 days, they sent me a **** for the second month. I asked if some consideration could be made on my billing considering I only had 4 days of service, which they did not care to assist with. As I had received almost no benefit from their service and paid full price for a fraction of the service they sold me, I said I did not wish to continue. I did not speak to them again. Almost three months later, with no contact or service from this company, I saw two additional charges on my NEW credit card for $1500. It appears the company was able to scrape my new card info and without my approval, communication, or signature, charge me twice more for the same "month" of service or whatever it is they feel I owed them. I reached out to my credit card company who reported it as fraud, but eventually this was pushed back to me as "valid charges" due to ************* complete incompetence and lack of caring.Ultimately, if the vendor felt I owed them for additional services, I should be billed for them - it is not fair that they can charge a credit card I did not even give them and the charge can stand without me approving it. What is to stop them from charging me another 2-3 times? Apparently nothing.I should be refunded the $3000. I received no benefit in any way for these charges and I did not approve them. Using the "system" to rob me of $3000 for work Persist IQ knows they did not do is unethical and wrong. Companies should not be allowed to charge at will and leave the consumer unprotected. If I owe money, give me the chance to pay it/discuss it - robbing me by charging my card without me giving it to you and playing the paperwork game to keep the money is not the right way to run a business. Please do the right thing and refund me.
