On 06/28/2023, about **** hours, a ********************* Fencing truck, with an unsecured load, was driving in front of me on highway 5. While driving in lane to the right of me, their unsecured wood load, flew out of their truck and hit my vehicle. The ********** Highway Patrol responded and found them at fault. The company was issued a Citation. They provided the *** with fake insurance information. They are refusing to provide their **************** info to my insurance company to repair the almost $4,000 in damages, not including my vehicles diminished value.

We are writing in repose to the claim made by the individual through the Better Business Bureau regarding an alleged incident involving our company.

We wish to express our concern regarding the credibility of this claim, as all necessary information pertaining to the incident has been duly provided to the claimant's insurance company. The claimant asserts that a pallet of wood, a specific type that we neither carry nor work with, caused damage to his vehicle. However, he declined the opportunity to visit the scene of the incident to identify the purported wood responsible for the damage.

We firmly assert that, had the claimed type of wood indeed impacted the claimant's vehicle, it would have resulted in discernible and substantial damage. Nevertheless, we find no evidence to support such a scenario, leading us to suspect the authenticity of the claim. In good faith and adherence to ethical business practices, we have actively cooperated with the claimant's insurance company, providing all relevant details and collaborating truthfully in this matter.
We kindly request that the BBB carefully evaluate the veracity of the claim in light of the information we have presented. We remain committed to resolving this matter with transparency and integrity.

Should you require any further information or documentation, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are dedicated to resolving this issue promptly and ensuring fair resolution for all parties involved.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to your prompt consideration.

      Complaint: 20386961

I am rejecting this response because:

I have reached out to *********************, via the phone they provided, and have not received a text message back from them. They have never mentioned or called me to go to the scene of the accident.
In regards to the incorrect verbiage, I have provided images of the wood, which a reasonable person could describe as wood pallets. My insurance has told me numerous times, ******************* refuses to provide them with insurance information and is acting in bad faith.
On scene ******************* called me and asked to keep this away from the insurance companies, as they wanted to provide me with cash to fix my vehicle. The driver attempted to leave the scene numerous times while waiting for CHP to arrive and stated its not that bad, theyll make it right
Now after being found to be at fault by CHP and me not accepting their offer to go outside of insurance they wont do the proper thing and allow the insurance companies to decide whos at fault.
Im not requesting anything other than what the ********** Vehicle Code requires, which is for them to provide me with their insurance information. If theyre truly not at fault, I do not understand why they have refused to provide the information.
I am also requesting a response to when they provided an invitation to go to the middle of an unsafe freeway to find their wood.

      Sincerely,

      *******************************

As previously mentioned, the individual in question is seeking to attribute fault to our company for an incident he alleges involves one of our company trucks. However, his allegation contradicts the evident damage observed on his vehicle. Our company has not incurred any material loss related to this incident, and it is our belief that ****************** is attempting to unjustly assign responsibility for the damage to his car to our company.

      Complaint: 20386961

I am rejecting this response because:

All I am requesting is the insurance information for the company truck, which was responsible for the damage to my vehicle. A company who is not at fault would have no issues providing this information. I again spoke to my insurance company, who stated ******************* is not cooperating with the investigation.

I am also requesting the copy of the request for me to go to the side of the freeway, which was not provided in this response but was previously mentioned by the company.

I feel as if this company is making every excuse to not to pay for damages they are responsible for, all to avoid a dent to their insurance.
      Sincerely,

      *******************************

They've completed building the deck more than six months ago but the permit process has still not been completed. I have not received a certificate of completion from the city and then I called there city, they say the inspection process was never completed.

      Business response

      02/03/2023

********************* sent an unexperienced site inspector that provided wrong information about how to proceed with the next inspections. Working with the city and third party architect to get a final approval. RBF has been working with architects and with ********************* to get the right ********************* for a final approval.

RBF has been in contact with client and is aware of the  necessary timeframe needed to finalize this.

We are in the spirit of finalizing this permit for customer but unfortunately have been misguided by ********************* inspector in regards to the final steps to finalize permit.

I am rejecting this response because:

While I thank RBF for their response, it is the first communications I've received from them in well over 6 months. The project completed April of 2022. I look forward to removing this BBB complaint when the city permit has been satisfactorily resolved.

I was told that they will bring in the necessary paper work to the city office to satisfy the required special inspections on Monday (yesterday). They said they'll call me to report on the status. I look forward to hearing of any progress they've made. Thank you for very much for your attention to this matter.

      Sincerely,

******************* have installed two fences for me on separate occasions. Each of those occasions was satisfactory. Despite some issues such as fence placement and quality of work occurring both time ****** (the salesman and primary contact) was quick to respond and rectify these issues. This led me to ask for a quote for a large pergola and 6 raised garden beds. when the quote came in around the same price as the others I received i figured that these guys have done decent work before and ****** is a decent guy so why not give them the work.. Terrible idea. It's actually hard to document all that went wrong and the absolutely disgraceful response from ******************* and, in particular Yefri (I believe he is the Operations Manager).1. I specifically asked for the garden beds to be placed on a new DG patio i had installed a week previously - i didn't want them cemented in as I figured i would move them around over time.On the first day of install i arrived home to find posts dug into the new patio and huge holes around them. 2. the quality of the wood they used for the Pergola and how it was installed was absolutely terrible. cracked discolored, dirty in places, not even sanded well, large gaps where boards meet, boards meeting the ground in some places and not in others. It has been nearly 10 months since the install and ******************* have delayed, threatened and bullied at every opportunity since all the while refusing to take responsibility and make god on the repairs.
