I had purchased from Groupon 20 units of Botox and made an appointment for today 8/11/2022. When I made the appointment I was told to me sure and bring the paid voucher with me. The employee taking the appointment even said"Oh we haven't seen you in a very long time" I was there many years ago!! I was right on time for my appointment with the paid $187.00 coupon. I was then rudely informed it was for new clients only and they would do the Botox but I would have to pay again. The voucher nowhere states new clients only!! Then they had the nerve to send me an e-mail stating I cancelled the Botox appointment. This is such a case of FALSE advertising it makes me sick.

************ has been a client of Mommas Medispa for years, she recently visited one of our open house events
and later made an appt. for Botox treatment.
The client purchased a Groupon which is reserved for NEW clients only, when a customer purchases one of our Groupons it states " with restrictions'' ie: new clients only
The  customer then pays Groupon directly and therefore Groupon is the entity who does the refunds for the amount she paid to them.
We do not  receive any payment from groupon until the voucher is redeemed- which it was not in this case.
We recommended she return the groupon voucher and we would be happy to see her.
This should clear up any misunderstanding.

      Sincerely,
      Mommas Medispa

[Name] Momma's Health & Wellness [Work] *************** [Work] ****************************************************************************** ???? [Website] https://www.mommashealthandwellness.com [Xeomyn Appt.] Mon, Apr 25, 2022 [Notes] Was told 24 Units were injected. However, only 3 points/needlesticks, instead of the usual 5.No way *************************** 3 points. Also, end of **** *** can still make a full frown. Which shouldn't be possible, for me. After only 10 U, I'm unable to even frown slightly, much less fully. I paid $129. Was told the 'extra' 4 U were given to me free. Now I find that my 200 Alle points were used? Why?!I say 'extra' because before my 1st appointment I had called & asked how many Units were given since it wasn't specified_[AD: Xeomin for 1 area] & because I usually, (almost always), require 26 Units, along with an add'l 4-6 Units @ my 2 wk follow-up. I was told, yes, if it's determined I'd need that amount, then that's what it would cover for the 1 area. & now, the 'Xeomin for 1 area' has become specifically & exactly 20 U, even though that's not what it's described or titled when purchasing, and I'm told I'm being given an extra 4U free (as in a favor), but while also using my 200 Alle points without my permission. They took my $129. and did not administer 24 Units of Xeomin that I paid for. What little amount that was given was either only 2-4 Units maybe, and probably watered down. As evidenced by my being able to make a full frown easily. I have documented photographs of every time I have received Botox or Xeomin, which clearly shows that immediately after injection I am unable to make a frown, even in the slightest, and in between my eyebrows is completely smooth. Which is not true of this time, the photos show it is not smooth at all and I can frown fully. She didn't even **** the 5 areas prior to injection, as is usually done. She just quickly did 2 spots and that was it. Spilling out most of the small amount, as she was still pushing

      RE: COMPLAINT #******** -***********************

The practitioner used the appropriate amount of Xeomin. The client purchased a " Groupon for 1 area of Xeomin" directly from the Groupon website and she may request a refund directly from them.
The Clients Alle points were reinstated immediately, it was only in a pending state. The statements the client made regarding how quickly the product works for her, are medically incorrect per the *** and the Manufacturer of the Botulinum toxins.
      Results vary per client.
      Thank You

They most definitely did Not inject the 'appropriate ' amount of Xeomin.
Since they proclaim to be well-versed with what is and what isn't medically valid, then they should also be aware that the Glabellar Lines, in between the eyebrows has exactly 5 points that target the muscles to produce a frown, not 2. So their administration of the botulism toxin is medically invalid.
As they stated, every patient is different. And for me, I can see results, when administered correctly, immediately to up to one day later.
      Also, Groupon only refunds $32.00
