In 2021 I purchased a new AC unit from Rod Johnson AC. In 2022 the unit wasn't working properly and it needed freon. They told me this was normal - that every year it would need freon. In 2023 the unit wasn't working. The company had a new owner. The repair person told me that the unit that was installed in 2021 should never have been installed because it was damaged. He said the unit was bent. I was charged ******* for the repair of a damaged AC. It still wasn't working properly so today I called out a different AC company to see if I could find out what was wrong. These are a few of the things they found" An aftermarket hard start had been added to the compressor, freon leak and oil on suction line at evaporator. They also mentioned a pipe had been cut and not secured properly and that could lead to a possible leak of gas into my garage.I am asking for a complete refund of the money I spent for the repair and also for a refund of the existing damaged unit so I can purchase one from a reputable company. The ********** company who came out today said the unit is so bad that they would not attempt to repair it.

Owner installed mini split HVAC that completely malfunctions. He refuses to come rectify this faulty system. He claims that my husband and I, broke the systemThe owner is a pathological liar. His contracts are meaningless. All he has to state is that a client tampered with his equipment and he is exempt from any responsibility. I am seeking help from Contractor state license board. ******************** needs to drop him as a client so that other people do not suffer we do not have $32,000 to spend and now we face months of paying off the loan for a system that does not work. We are 65 and 75 years old people that he has subjected to terrible amounts of suffering and pain. Please remove him from your list of people you recommend hopefully other people have written in as well.

I am rejecting this response because:The letter from ***********************/*** Johnson are all fabrications. Why on earth would anyone tamper with a $32,000 air conditioning unit that is under warranty? We have zero motivation to tamper with expensive equipment. *********************** doesnt want to spend more money repairing his bad work so hes highly motivated lie. That we wired our own air conditioning is a real doozy. You can call *********************** at solarpowerco ************ he will tell you that his son, ****** and partner ***** wired the 240 V cables for the air conditioning. The upstairs tenant must wear a noise, canceling headphones, because her air conditioner make so much racket at night I have videos.
The air-conditioning units dont leak because theyre clogged they leak because they havent been mounted to the wall correctly. Ive had three additional companies come in and they all agree that the condenser is wired incorrectly, and the heads are not mounted to the wall correctly.
He told our lawyer, ******************* that, we would not wait to have his company fix the wiring so we went out and rewired it ourselves at least he admits that it was wired incorrectly. But no, like I said before we would never touch that condenser then he says I insisted on the condenser being on the ground. That is another absolute lie. Besides, why cant condensers be on the ground? theyre always on the ground I wouldnt of cared either way, but why did they make that lie up?I never cussed at any of his workers at all. You can call *********************** *************** and he will tell you. I never yelled at anybody because he was there when the **** guys were there installing the unit.

Do the right thing drop this guy from BBB so that he cannot continue hurting other people like hes hurt my husband and I.
