May 12, 2024 $56 ***************** disgusting food, left no tip. Got home opened take-out order which was burnt. In addition, leftover food fish&chips overcooked, house wrap no flavor. After reading 1 star reviews on Yelp, read all 1 star reviews; all had similar negative experience, some worse like witnessed cook touched food without gloves. Returned to ******* to complain; manager was not available; returned all 3 orders. After posting my negative experience, got response did you get refund? Also, for me to return offered free food. I want full refund and, no, I will never return as others had posted on Yelp.Business response

I have received a letter addressed to our front of the house manager ********************************* and the date on the letter is 7/12/2024, which has stated that our allotted timeframe for a response has already expired. I am responding just incase this customer reaches out to you again. In response to her complaint, she did in fact complain to her server for a full refund, but our manager was not there. She left without leaving her name or number and has never reached out to the restaurant again. She did not call or stop by after that. Our manager **** was expecting her to come back but we havent heard from her since and I see that on her statement that she was offered free food and asking if she for a refund but none of us had talked to her. She sat there with her son for about 90mins eating their food and ordered some to take home and did in fact eat the food that she ordered for dine in. We would have loved to have this issue taken care of if she was not happy with her food, if she had left her info we would have definitely reached out, but we never heard back from her again not until she has filed a complaint with BBB. Sorry for this long message but this is just our side of story. this was my first ever negative experience with dining out, so Im not experienced with what to do. The manager was not present and all employees didnt help me as to what to do. Im sure this was not the first time me and other customers have experienced negative food and service per Yelp reviews. I was never offered free food, to which I do not accept. I was asked if I received refund but I was never given names as to who I can contact regarding refund even after filing complaint with BBB. I want to get my $56 refund to resolve my complaint and move on. ******* is only making excuses just like when I was not immediately served ATT and was told Im busy taking care of $309+ take out order after getting waitress attention10 minute wait and cafe was not busy ATT ???? The last straw was after getting home and takeout order was burnt?? so decided to return take home. Employees never instructed me to leave personal information whereby I next had to reach out to BBB for help. I paid $56 for all food returned!!!! I want justice and $56 refund ASAP. Thank you.
