I entered an agreement with Priceline *** Lines to move household property from ** to ****. Approximately two weeks after the original date my furniture was to be delivered, it was delivered by Movers and Packers Relocation Specialists, at about midnight on 10/23/22. My neighbor had to be there as I was on my way back to **. My neighbor verified what was delivered by Facetiming me and it was noted the missing items that they could not find. I was told to contact the claims department at Customer Service **** AKA LA Moving Services Inc (I believe). I filed an initial claim on 12/5/22 just to get the run-around. It took a while to complete the claim and send all the requested information about the missing and damaged items, which included pictures of the damage. I emailed many times after the initial claim was initiated and called their office many times. I was given the CFO's number for follow up and every time I called *******************************, I was either told she would call me back or it was not a good time to contact her as it was her personal number. This is the number that her office gave me. I continued to call and email and finally around 2/1/23 I received an email stating that they offered me ****** and I needed to sign a statement that I agreed with the amount and that I relinquish my rights of making any further claims against the moving company. I followed up with an email requesting a breakdown of the amount they came up with and received no assistance again. After many emails from me, I received one today, 5/5/23 stating that my claim has been dismissed because of the 9-month statute of limitations in the contract. I called ******* again because it hadn't been 9 months since my claim was initiated, just to be told that I needed to call the office as this was her personal line and she didn't have time. I filed within the timeframe and have received little to no assistance from the claims company. I also shipped less furniture and was charged more at pickup.Customer response

Signed contract with International Van Lines believing they were going to move us. Instead they contracted A&H Transportation. All information is in our Claims documentation which is attached. We were shocked to received the following email today. "Attached is your settlement agreement. You are entitled to $216.00 which was authorized by the investigative team. Please fill it out e-mail it back as a PDF file to claims@customerserviceinc.com so we can order the moving company to issue you out a check in the amount you are entitled to by law." Attached was a blank form. Moving date from Boise, ID was June 9, 2022 Arrived in Ocala, Florida July 8, 2022 Claim Filed July 30, 2022 Received A&H Settlement - Sept. 19, 2022 IVL takes no responsibility Sincerely, *****************************************************************
