I purchased Acme Gorsedd bedroom set. The headboard had a defect which I showed the delivery guy and he said call the owner. When the delivery guys left within 30 minutes I called owner and told him defects . He said I should have not let the delivery guys leave. They should have taken the items. I noticed the mirror and dresser also has different colors. I told him everything and sent ********* was December 18 or 20. He said he will have to contact Acme for a solution . Since then he keeps making up stories putting my exchange off. Today he said He didnt want to deal with me and that I can do whatever and deal with the manufacture.I dont want to cause problems I just want my items exchanged that were defective. I paid alot of money and i was expecting a new bedroom set with no defects. Please help me I dont want to cause trouble.Business response

Here is the response to the complaint.
My customer had bought this bed and I have witness from my 2 employees that everything was delivered and assembled in good condition. They were able to talk to her husband and confirmed everything was in good standing prior to leaving from the customer house. From the start the customer was told and reassured that after purchase all sales are to be final. Later after everything was completed the customer had messaged saying there is a spot on the bed that was damaged (a scratch). I assured the customer we would be able to contact ACME (furniture company) for a replacement and accommodate her needs. As I was processing things on my end, she was impatient and without authorization she inappropriately called the furniture company ACME and pretended to be an employee here without even giving me the chance to be able to take care of it from our side.
At this point we wished to no longer associate nor deal with this matter due to inappropriate actions in contacting and pretending to be an employee on our end.

Im sorry that you think I pretended to be your employee as that would give me no benefit whatsoever. Thats just your misunderstanding . The only reason I called Acme is because you said you were waiting on them and when I asked them they said that is not true.
If you were providing my exchange on your end as promised and as you mentioned in your repl why would I bother to contact acme?
Even now you mentioned in your response that you were going to provide me with an exchange. Thats awesome please do so then, thats what I want as well. You said im impatient but its 3 months, how much longer should I wait .
Then why am I still waiting and its March and Ive been waiting since December 2023. Please provide my exchange as promised.
Acme has also been trying to reach you numerous times with no response.
Like I said before Im not trying to cause a problem for anyone. Im not trying to get a refund, I just want an exchange for the defective items. Please help.
You even mentioned on your reply that you were doing an exchange , so go ahead please do the exchange, its been 3 months.Business response

As i stated before, I already did my job. This exchange is an extra task I was taking care of passively on top of my other responsibilities. Due to you calling the ***** had to stop my process and did not appreciate doing this without my authorization or consent. I did my job and you complained about the damage after the fact. I will have your exchange done by April 15th.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Hello, thank you for giving me a timeframe that you will have my exchange done by April 15th.After my exchange is complete It will be my pleasure to write a statement for all the consumers that you are true to your word and you did exchange my items as promised.Until then Im waiting for that deadline April 15th to arrive. I appreciate it if you can truly stand by your word this time and do my exchange by that date instead of empty promises. Ive been waiting since December 2023.From the beginning I never wanted to start problems , please finally exchange my items. Lets work on a peaceful resolution and ending :). Hello, I just wanted to update that Home Furnishings Decor owner ***** took care of my issue. He exchanged my items as promised in the timeframe that he gave me. I am very satisfied with the outcome. Its better late than never. You stood by your word and finally did my exchange as promised.

Dear Sir/*****,Hope all is well. I am writing this letter to inform you and need your help regarding the money I paid (Home Furnishing Decors Owner Basir) to order bedroom bed set $7100.00.FYI: I purchased the bed set last year on around July 15, 2021. I waited more than a year and still I have not received my bed set , and when I ask for refund, he refuses to pay my money back. I called the police, but I have been told to go through FTC. Here is my side of the story in which I am sharing to resolve this claim;
He ordered $32,242 worth of merchandise and he paid only $15,000 of it with a remaining balance of $15842 despite all his furniture being delivered already.
As far as the bed goes-
He ordered and cancelled the bed and I charged him a restocking fee, he got upset and started to yell and threaten me including threatening me with a gun. I proceeded to call the police myself (not him) and from the *************** side they got him to "stop" posing a violent threat to everyone.
Despite delivering ALL the furniture (minus the bed he cancelled) he still has a remaining balance of $8742 which includes a subtracted amount of $7100 that he claims I owe him (originally $15842 as stated above).
