I placed an order for a $1300 custom closet on September 5 and placed a deposit for half the cost. They committed an install date a few days after on September 8 of 11/24. On 11/4 I received a voicemail from the company citing that the install would be delayed due to issues with staffing. They did not provide an install date. I emailed my customer service rep 11/24 asking for an update on install. She replied 12/8 citing the same issues and that I should have been assigned a date and if I had not to contact the office. I called the office 12/8 and spoke to *****. ***** cited she had contacted the installers and they were behind and could not provide a date, she suggested it may be in January but no commitments could be made. I asked ***** for an option of a refund due to the delay and she said I would have to forfeit the deposit. I told ***** this is not an acceptable response as the company has not fulfilled its commitments and my decision to purchase is not a blank check that allows them to show up whenever they feel like it with no commitments made. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she would put in a request. I asked who that would be and she said ***** Epperd. I asked for an estimated response time and she was again unable to provide one.
