Unicourt makes it impossible to remove a case from their site plus ****** search. I have filled out several requests and the url seems not to be found even though I physically can see it . Also it is not even on a court record. Where do they even get there info when my court case is no longer on public in my state ? This is there to make me look bad when I was the victim.

UniCourt makes private and personal information of private citizens readily available via the internet for ANYONE to see INCLUDING BAD FOREIGN ACTORS. Dear UniCourt; What are you doing to protect private citizen information from being easily accessed and retrieved by scammers, fraudsters, and malevolent actors from foreign countries like *****, ******, AND criminal organizations like identify theft rings, and potentially, even narco-cartels? This is absurd. We need to file a class action against UniCourt. I am not a customer of ********************. I was never a customer of **********************. Yet, under some democratization of information framework, UniCourt thinks it can optimize our private information to be the first bit of data that lists upon a search engine query. I do not feel safe. I do not feel like my personal information is protected under the Privacy Act of 1970. Class action against UniCourt, everyone?

I wanted to look up a case. They say you get 50 searches. I joined. I wanted to look at one case and they charge you $10 more to open a file. I paid and the file wouldnt open. I immediately cancelled and requested a refund, this was 10 minutes after I joined. They closed my account and denied my request for a refund.

UniCourt should be banned. They take peoples personal information and exploit them on the internet without their permission. When you try to have them remove it, they will not unless you pay them. I had a legal case that was dismissed, and they refused to remove it off of their website. They told me my I have been provided with temporary 6 month redaction. I may wish to file a motion to seal this public record with the court. If I meet the courts standards, an appropriate sealing order would remove this record from the public domain.Unless UniCourt receives an order from the court sealing this public record by the end of this 6 month redaction period, my public record will be unredacted.Even a lawyer said it makes him angry to see companies like that one using public records for a bad purpose.Something needs to be done to stop this company. There are so many complaints about this company. When will it end!

Unicourt is a company that exploits public information and not vetting their information property therefore they have a lot of misleading information listed on their site. Just by using a search engine and searching for a person name Unicourt will be the first hit that will pulls up. If the person you are searching for have any kind of court records or petition filed under their name it will appear in your search. The problem with this company is they use public humiliation embarrassing harmful tactics that can have a long term impact on people reputation and life, especially when it comes to employment opportunities it effects their chances greatly. Another big problem with Unicourt is they dont property vet the information that they post on their site. A lot of the information is incorrect. I personally tried to inform them that I have never been sued and never been in a courtroom. But they refuse to take the information down or make any kind of correction to their site. But I did receive an email that said my name had been redacted from their public website for 6 months. In that time, you are supposed to go to court and have this sealed. For what? The information is incorrect and misleading, how do you go to court and get it sealed when you dont even have a case to seal. They are not the Court so why does this company act like they are.

Unicourt has made sure your court case, if not sealed in court, is plastered all over the web so you have to relive it publicly forever. This parasitic company personally capitalizes on others' disputes under the pretense that it's providing a service so others can find your court case. If your court case was one another wanted to find, and was not sealed, it could be found through the court, thus Unicourt's service is 100% unnecessary. Unicourt's unnecessary service only serves to harm those who have used the justice system and places them in harm's way by exposing their unfortunate experience and sensitive information to everyone. If you want your court case removed, Unicourt claims you can request for it to be removed. Yet, when you request for it to be removed, Unicourt won't remove it. Even if you show Unicourt it ***** you, Unicourt won't remove it. You would think that Unicourt would be just as happy to have your experience with it posted online, as it is with posting your lawsuit online. Unicourt has over 100 complaints posted on the BBB's website. Unicourt if F-rated by the BBB. Yet, instead of hearing the complaints about the company, ******* argues that the person who filed the complaint through the BBB is not a customer who has purchased its service and thus their complaint should be removed. Unicourt wants info about it removed, yet ignores the wishes of those people whose experience in court it uses/exploits, like mine, for its business to make money. Unsealed lawsuits may be public, but this was never intended to be exploited, and no warning was provided to a party upon filing a lawsuit that their lawsuit may be misused the way Unicourt misuses it. If Unicourt won't honor requests to remove the lawsuits they exploit and publish on the web without a person's permission, they should be put out of business. May how they've harmed others via their misuse of personal information live online forever without them being able to remove it. Cancel Unicourt.

They posted about my RESTRAINING ORDER in FULL DETAIL. The best part? The Respondent hadnt been served yet AND FOUND OUT THROUGH THIS WEBSITE. When I contacted them explaining how they could be putting people in danger, they sent me a pre-scripted customer service email about removing records which I cant even do right now because now their website is a piece of evidence in my case. These people are disgusting and have no regard for the safety of others.

Request they remove my information from the website in April 2021. they did not comply. This directly affects my availability to find employment and my family's safety. They do not have my permission to post anything about me. The email from them below (which was an absolute untruth...its all a trick) :Thank you for submitting your Public Records Removal Request. Your request was approved to remove (de-index) your public record from the internet search engines ******** Bing, etc.).Please note UniCourt does not control the internet search engines, their practices, or the timing of web page (URL) de-indexing. Based on past experience, URLs are generally de-indexed by the internet search engines within about 30 days. Please also note that even if UniCourt removes a public record, it still may be publicly and privately available in other repositories and can only be sealed by a court order. We are only able to remove records published by UniCourt (UniCourt.com) and do not control what is published on other sites. If you believe a record should be sealed, then we strongly encourage you to obtain a court order to have the record sealed. Here we are a year later and it is still listed on the site. No way to reply to the email Maybe they do this to steal people drivers license information and sell it to people who commit identity theft. Which a month later happened. They request to remove from the site personal information and a copy of your DL. Then bam someone is trying to open up loans and credit cards. Someone also created a Paypal account in my name. Been a total nightmare and anything they ask from you is for stealing nothing to due with removal.
