Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/24) */ *** ****** ************** enrolled into our Last Chance Program on 07/08/2020 for $994.00. The Admissions Counselor went over every paragraph of the Enrollment Agreement contract with *** ************** in person in which**** ************** initialed every section and signed the contract. Our notes in *** **************** file shows that CSLS fully provided support to the student and his wife throughout the entire school process, including assisting with the CSLB state application. Due to the complaint we received from the student and his wife on October 2020 in regard to wanting the classes is Spanish, CSLS provided him all the class recordings in Spanish at no additional charge, as well as free extensions for the online practice exams were also provided to the student with all fees waived. When we checked the CSLB site on 05/20/21 to follow up on his test scores, we saw that he had failed the law and trade tests on 05/17/21. We immediately emailed him on the next steps we can help him to take in order to retest for the exam. We did not hear back from the student, so we reached out to him again on 12/23/21 again offering our assistance to him. Still with no response back from**** **************, we reached out to him again on 01/17/22. It was not until 02/10/22 when ******************** wife called our Corporate office to state that we are not helping her husband since he failed the exam. We explained how we have been trying to reach him since May of 2021 with no luck or response back. Their Student Administrator tried to contact them back within 1 hour of *** **************** wife's call into Corporate but once again there was no answer. It is very important to CSLS that we make sure we offer the best support, study materials, and guidance to our students. We have assisted Mr. ************** throughout his entire process as well provided free courses to assist him prepare for his exam. According to the signed Enrollment Agreement with the student, he is not eligible for a refund, especially since all courses and services were rendered. However, he does still have options available for him. According to the terms & conditions of his enrolment agreement, if the student fails, he/she must submit the state exam results within 10 days following the test failure date.
