I closed my account in May 2024. They are continuing to send people to my home, calling, texting & emailing. I have repeatedly asked them to stop & they tell me I have to speak to a sales mgr to close my account. I do not have to jump through their hoops - I have notified them. I would like them to cease & desist.Customer response

A solicitor from Brooks pest control showed up at my door to sell me their pest control service. After relentless pressure I and them pointing out spider webs on my porch I finally agreed to give the a try. I wasnt happy with the service and attempted to cancel service many times. To which they kept refusing to let me cancel. In May I spent over 49 minutes on the phone trying to pay the cancellation fee in order to be done with them, but they refused to let me pay the $300 cancellation fee. They insisted I needed to have the final $120 service. My home was under construction so I informed them that cannot come durring construction. I spoke to them on the day they scheduled service and I informed them the home was under construction (again). They were polite and said the service can be moved to a future date. However, days later they contacted me to demand payment for the service that was not performed. They insisted the service was performed. I have now been getting calls and emails stating they performed services on a day where it was literally impossible to step foot on my property due to the extensive construction. I shared the images and photos and videos with the company to show that no one has done any service, so I will not pay for a service that was not done. I sent videos and images of the spiderwebs that were not removed and they insist they cannot view images or videos via text or email.But they have now sent me to collections for a service that was not performed. The extent of my service is spiderweb removal and spray for spiders. And those were not performed.Business response

I'm happy to report we spoke with the customer over the phone today, answered questions, and came to a resolve to the point that the customer is willing to continue services with us. Looking forward to providing them a pest-free home!Initial Complaint

At the beginning of August 2023 I verbally agreed to having Brooks pest control service my home.In October I decided to discontinue the service and upon calling them I was informed that I would have to pay ****** the discounted amount for the first service - I did pay ****** for each of the first two services which I had agreed to do. When I refused I was informed they had a signed contract on file. I requested a copy and upon receipt I immediately saw that the signature was not mine - even my first name was mis spelled. The only acknowledgement of this fraudulent signature was a comment "we get a lot of people calling us to say they did not sign any contract"I would just like this service discontinued without further payment and to have absolutely no more dealings with this company.However, I do request written confirmation of the above.
