Problem 1- last tuesday, 6/11, my van broke down 3hrs after getting it back from this shop for a scheduled transmission check-up inspection. Tow truck driver and mechanic that did repair said it looked like the starter had broken loose due to bolt that came loose likely due to improper installation. Im seeking compensation for repair and tow.Secondly- in the course of the mechanic trying to understand how or why the mount may have failed i told him the transmission had been replaced in the last 2 months and also gave him some of the work records from MainSt Auto. He noticed they had used the wrong transmission fluid back in September 23 when they had installed the first transmission that then failed within 7 months. In april 24 when i took my vehicle back in with the failing transmission i went weeks without a vehicle at considerable hassle and expense while they went back and forth between Mopar and Dodge to see who was responsible for the warranty. I absorbed the expense because i took them at their word that the repair was done up to spec, but knowing now that it was negligence on their part i would like to be compensated. They also have not provided me the work records for the ****** installed in april as ive asked so theres uncertainty whether they used the correct fluid this time or not. I'm asking they provide for a transmission flush and new fluid at a different garage.Thirdly- i feel they were very aggressive in what the charged me for parts on a drive belt replacement done 6/11/24, charging 2 and 3 times over full retail price for aftermarket parts. I am seeking a price adjustment on this. Thank you for your attention in this matter.Initial Complaint

On 4/23/2024 I took my car to Main Street Automotive due to my ** compressor being broken. They diagnosed my car stating I needed a new ** compressor. I agreed for them to work on my car because they stated they are Tesla certified and they showed proof. So they ordered my parts and I came back 05/17/24 once they had my parts. They finished on 5/25/24 stating they replaced the ** compressor and the ** was still not working still(not blowing any air). They said they rebooted the car, checked for leaks and also talked to someone to help guide them through to check what was going on. They told me that I had to go to Tesla because it was a software. On 5/27/24 I went to Tesla to do a Diagnostic and the tech said it can be a small leak and they didnt place it right. I contacted the auto shop and I have not received a call back or email. So I scheduled another appointment to get a full diagnostic for 5/09/25. When ***** gave me a full diagnostic to my car it stated ** compressor needs a replace. I have sent a message and called them.
