I lost my medical insurance on 5/1 of this year and was a patient of mindpath, and after speaking with a front office staff about it I cancelled my last appointment, since I didnt have coverage. About a week later I got a call from a different front staff person who said my ** wanted to schedule an appointment with me. I informed her I didnt have insurance, and she stated I was entitled to one last appointment, even without insurance. Later on that month I received a bill for almost $600. After going back and forth with billing for around a month I was told to open a case through ethics point, for an investigation on the matter. I did and gave them the timestamps for the last two calls made by mindpath to me. The first on being prior to the office staff saying I was entitled to one last appointment. When the person was doing their investigation, they only apparently listened to the old voicemail that was left about canceling my previous appointment. They did not listen to the newest call, or didnt reference it at least. Once they shared their findings I informed them that I wanted to escalate the issue and requested a copy of the recordings. Without responding back, they have closed the case on ethics point, so I can not contact them any more and they keep threatening to send me to collections. The person who did the investigation, ***************************, is also their collections manager. I feel they are covering up their mistake and unethically charging me for an appointment that i told them i couldnt do if i had to pay for it due to no insurance. Please help, I am just rebuilding my credit after a bankruptcy, and their error is going to ruin my credit again

I was seeking services and provided my insurance information and was told that my co-payment would be $25 and after I received the services the bill was almost $2,000. They told me they were in network and now they are saying they are not. The service I received from the Nurse Practitioner was subpar. When I tried to make an appointment it was canceled and I was told that he would review the chart and call me back, that was 3 weeks ago. I asked for a supervisor and the front office staff told me someone would have to call me as they could not give email or phone numbers. This is suppose to be for services to help people but they run this business as though they are loan sharks. Do not use this business by any means. They have outsourced their ethics and compliance department to NavEx, they block all incoming phone calls and you will never get pass the front office staff. These are underhanded shady business practices. If you read the reviews they refer you back to their outsourced ethics and compliance hotline. That is to be used for internal complaints not external complaints. They do not want to talk to you! All they want is your $$$. Please avoid at all costs and Mind Path do not send me your canned response. I have already filed two complaints via your sharepoint site. You are a horrible company and I am going to the medical board and the Govern and Senators of ********** to report your unethical behavior.

The provider is claiming $50 for a no show fee.I explained to the provider's office and billing departments several times, that the appointment was set without my knowledge. They merely set it in the calendar for the doctor, and then never informed me about it. This was why I missed the appointment.I supplied evidence consisting of screenshots, emails, and statements showing that I did not receive any information about the appointment. I challenged the office to send me any proof that they did actually inform me by any means, even an SMS, or a call. They failed to provide any evidence. They continued to say that they did inform me about the appointment but never gave any evidence to counter my own evidence.I am asking that the provider simply cancels the $50 no show fee from their billing statements.

Billing has constant issues including telling me I didn't give them information, my insurance has lapsed, they lost my card on file. None of these are true, and in fact I ALWAYS give my Physician the information at the same time so that I cover my bases. I have been with this practice for years, and this is an ongoing problem. Others I have re-record the same. The problem is the business, not the doctors.

My psychiatrist is out of town. I reached out 3 times this week to get a prescription refilled. I never heard back. The last phone I made was today. They informed me that the on-call doctor will not prescribe for a 90 supply, however, CVS will only fill the prescription with a 90 day supply. I have run out of my medicine with no resolution. Community Psychiatry/Mind Path help has not helped me rectify the situation. This medicine has side effects from a sudden withdrawal and I am now stuck with out my meds until next week once the doctor comes back. This is completely unacceptable.

I have been a patient at Community Psychiatry for several years. On February 11, 2022, I called their office to make a usual follow-up appointment after seeing my doctor earlier that week. I was told that the "computer wouldn't let" the front office staff person I was speaking to make an appointment, and that there was a note stating I was "terminated as a patient" and "to be referred out". This has happened multiple times over the years, despite repeatedly explaining the problem. I have regular insurance currently through Anthem, and secondary insurance through ********* Somehow they keep recording me as only insured through ********* This is entirely their error, but it keeps happening every year. It happened last year at the same time. And the year before that. Being unable to make an appointment to get therapy and medication for depression and anxiety is traumatic, especially as it is not any fault of my own. They keep billing ********* which does not pay, instead of Anthem, which will. I need them to recognize they are making his mistake repeatedly, and to either fix their records permanently, or simply delete ******** altogether from my records, since they seem incapable of dealing with this. Secondly, no one at their scheduling department, nor even my own doctor, was aware that I was being terminated as a patient. The office had called me 3 times that week to make an appointment. Why call me if I'm being terminated? My own doctor, just that week, said we would be following up. Why say that if I was being terminated? Surely they would have informed my own doctor, so she could at least talk to me about my options? They need communication between their own departments. I need a follow-up from their office in writing apologizing for all this trauma, advising me what they are doing to make sure it never happens again to me or another patient, and acknowledging that they need better, kinder communication between their own departments and with patients.
