            I contacted the Tax Hardship Center about a $279,000 tax lien. I had been offered a high monthly payment plan by the IRS.. I was told by their representative the first thing they would do would be to get $50,000 in fines removed and then the interest and other penalties would be removed. After signing their agreement, my case was moved to another person who had no notes any of the documents that I had sent over. After recapping I was sent to another person who also had no background. Every subsequent contact there seemed to be no awareness of my file. After over two months they asked me if I would like to accept the first offer the IRS sent me. At this point I became alarmed and did what I should have done first: check their complaint history on BBB. I asked to terminate the agreement and they said they would keep $2000 of the monies already paid and the representative, Ari, said they have a lot of experience fighting against people and I can’t win. The credit card company has reviewed it and accepted my dispute and the next step is litigation.
