On January 29, 2024, Scraps **** High created a quote for me for an event including compostable service ware and trash/recycling/compost haul off and 2 monitors to help people sort their trash in the right bins. I agreed the quote looked good after a few adjustments and they sent me invoices for the deposit (due Feb 13, 2024) for $842 which was half of the total, the remaining $842 due on the day of service which wouldve been September 7, 2024.On April 25, 2024, I called *****************************, the Event Specialist who got my quote. I asked her to cancel my order and refund the deposit since the original event was canceled and we no longer needed their services. She was on a route and asked me to send an email. I sent an email right away through the original thread, replying all so hopefully the communication was open and everyone involved knew the details.I have not gotten a follow up since. Additionally, my neighbor uses their service for residential compost pick up that picks up every Monday. She told me Scraps Mile High missed the last 3 weeks of pick *** and has received no email or communication about a pause in service. Shes tried calling and nobody picks up. When I found out about my neighbor not being in contact with them and a lapse in a paid service ($32/month), I tried calling them myself because I realized that I hadnt gotten a follow up on my refund/cancellation request from April 25, 2024. May 20. 2024 I tried to call the company and no answer. Tried to call directly *****************************, my event specialist, and no answer. I left ***** a voicemail and no response yet. I decided to email the company separately to inquire about something else simply just to see if someone is there but just avoiding us. No response yet.Additionally, their social media is updated fairly regularly and theyre rolling out bigger compost bins, upgrading their trucks/fleet, etc. so we know theyre still an active company providing services.Business response
