We scheduled a Vent cleaning and were upsold a furnace cleaning for an additional $300.00. We had an HVAC person come out an hours later to do a tune up and showed us that the Furnace was filthy and had not been cleaned. We paid $300.00 for nothing. We are asking for a refund of the $300.00Initial Complaint

On November 15th, 2023 we hired Denver Ducts to clean our ducts before the holiday and we had a really bad experience. The tech's equipment broke down and had to use a shop vac to finish half the job. We also paid for coil cleaning on the furnace as part of our package and the tech stated he was not certified to do this type of work and someone else would need to come out. He also had a piece of equipment break in the main trunk and had to cut an extra hole to retrieve it or the company "would charge hime $200" to replace it. He did not use corner guards or rail guards and drug the equipment over the wooden rails and around corners scratching them. All of our cold air return vent covers were broken on reinstallation, and one vent cover is missing all together. There was a mess left around all the vents that was not even cleaned up. We are going to have to pay someone else to come out and finish the furnace cleaning, and we had a friend come finish the vents and cleaning. I called the company and told them of the bad service and was told someone would get back to me. Weeks later, I called again and left a voicemail. Finally a supervisor called me back and stated that a supervisor needed to come out to the house to see the damage and take pictures. I scheduled the appointment and a supervisor did come out and inspect and take pictures and he told me someone would be in touch right away. I heard nothing back so I left a bad review online and got a call back from a Jacob. He said he was the "new" supervisor in charge of handling the issue. I missed his call and called back three times before he returned my call when I happened to be in my mom's oncology appointment with the doctor so I told him I would call him back. I have now left three more messages and no return phone call again. So now Im asking for the BBB to help resolve this.Customer response
