I called **** to fix my water heater that went out, he came out , took everything apart, cut plumping lines and then left the house. When I got here later that evening there was water running every where in the house, since he had not shut off the water at the main. I called him, he said that would have been my job, and that I was supposed to have called city. That was the first he informed me of that, usually plumbers shut it off at the main, no need to get the city to shut it off at the street. He worked 3 hours @ the agreed $125 per hour with a $150 dispatch fee. he since sent me an invoice for $16 hrs. I asked him about the invoice, and he immediately responded with a threat to lean the property, even though I did not say I would not pay. I believe in paying any one for services preformed, never before have I had an issue like this. It seems he no longer cares about his reputation and is intentionally starting to scam customers.Business response

Key points:
(1) Invoice is for 8.5 hours not 16 as alleged simple arithmetic ! (See invoice)
(2)Terms are clearly defined as $125.00 per hour including drive time.(3) dispatch fee is not a trip fee
(4)Terms were agreed to October 29th
(5)It was repeatedly texted to him that the meter was shut off at all stops.
(6) Also repeatedly texted that if he wanted the water off at curb stop it was his response ability to call City and use his utility account number ( we did provide the city's # for him via text).
(7)Gained permission from his company to cut hole in sheet rock to gain access to meter shutoffs prior to any work being done.
(8)Told worker he would have to obtain water from toilet tanks for cement.
(9) Did call City on his behalf and was told he would need to do so!( Also had city take note! This is a documented fact)
(10) Also customer used many( we can provide texts and probably will do so ) sexual slurs bordering on hate speech as well as racial slurs! Examples calling me a "*Word Rejected* s***" and "cotton picker black a**".Business response

The attached invoice never showed 16 hours. I believe ****** sees a 1 as in quantity for Dispatch Fee above the 6 for quantity of hours. Or he's just making it up
