I purchased a $100.00 gift certificate as a Christmas, 2023 gift. Very soon after, the business closed down "temporarily". Within a few weeks of that, they posted a "permanently closed" sign. I would just like to receive my money back. I read on the facebook.com/supperbell site that many people are in the same bind. This company obviously knew that they were in financial problems, yet took well meaning people's gift money anyway. I reached out to contact the Face of the business, chef Frank Bonanno. A representative told me that he was only the face of the business and that he was also surprised with the closing. Who knows if that is truth? I found a name of a Thomas Balderston as a financial guy and he along with a few others seemed to have started this business 9-10 years ago. It would seem that my money is lost because I am betting that no one will take responsibility for stealing our money. If the BBB can find out anything, I would be happy to continue along in my search to locate my money and have it returned. Thanks

I received a promotion from SupperBell in Nov 2023 offering 25% off of gift cards. I purchased a $1000 gift card for my daughter who was about to give birth. Supperbell asked for a "tip" so I paid an additional $75 for that. In December 2023, Supperbell offered a 30% discount for gift cards. When my daughter went to try and use the gift card in early 2024, Supperbell's site said it was "pausing operations to improve customer service". Then they went completely dark. Multiple attempts to contact them have gone completely unanswered. My requests for a refund of may payment have gone completely unanswered. I believe Supperbell created the promotions to bring in as much cash as possible, knowing they would be going under and trying to take as much cash as possible before shuttering. Now I. and, I am sure, many other Coloradans have no recourse and have lost money. I'd like the Denver BBB to investigate and try to get consumer's money back.

In December of 2023, I purchased a $500 Supperbell gift card for delivered meals for the discounted price of $400. (Card #33F6F28759566DDG). I have ordered from Supperbell for over 3 years and have previously ordered discounted gift cards to pay for meals for my husband and me. (We are in our late 70’s.) There has never been a problem using the gift cards. In this case, however, Supperbell announced on their website in mid January that the business was taking a break to update menus and improve service. Over time the website has changed. It no longer resembles a site to order delivered meals and it offers no ability for a customer to communicate. I have tried leaving messages at the Supperbell customer support line (844-787-7372) asking when the business might be up and running again. No response. I fear that we, as well as several of our elderly friends, were fleeced by Supperbell before the business closed. We were only able to use our gift card once. They owe us approximately $425. (Our actual out-of-pocket loss is about $325.)
