I filed a complaint on this business on 12/02/2023 with the BBB regarding problems with their service (please see previous complaint from 12/02/2023). I took my watch to a different repair shop, ********'s Repair, to have the capacitor replaced as the watch is solar powered. ********'s Repair held onto my watch for over a month because a new capacitor needed to be ordered to make the needed repairs which would take time to receive. I was contacted by the owner of ********'s because she discovered my watch was damaged and a new capacitor wouldn't work. The owner explained to me what was happening with my watch and asked me if it was worked on by Fast Fix, which I explained to her that Fast Fix told me they didn't get the okay to work on my watch and according to Fast Fix nothing was done. The owner of ********'s took pictures of the inside of my watch and showed me what damage was done. Because of the damage my watch is no longer in working order and cannot be fixed. I've attached photos and a report I received from ********'s Repair as proof of what was discovered. My previous complaint was for Fast Fix to acknowledge their unprofessional attitude, but based on what I was shown after taking my watch to a different repair shop it's clear Fast Fix damaged my watch beyond repair and did not say anything to me. The watch is expensive in the first place, and I expect contact from Fast Fix for an explanation and a replacement.

I took my watch to this place to be repaired and my wife had been in contact with them through text. We confirmed, through text, that we wanted to have the conductor replaced, which was confirmed through the same text thread. On 12/2/2023 we went to the shop to pick up the watch only to find out nothing was done. We explained we had been in contact text confirming what work needed to be done. The clerk we talked with was rude, asinine and unprofessional about the text communications we had. The clerk was extremely rude stating he was able to read the texts on his end and kept saying nothing was confirmed. We have copies of our own text, but the clerk continued to be rude to the point of argumentative. I told them I wanted my watch back, which they gave back to me. My wife told them they needed to make this right because we were told the watch was ready for pick up. The clerk continued being rude and argumentative until a different clerk came up and stated there might've been a miscommunication. At that point we left. Not only were they were rude, disrespectful, argumentative, and unprofessional, they did not take responsibility for their lack of responsibility.

What I expect is for them to take responsibility for their actions; however, if this business refuses, then I want this to act as a report to the Better Business Bureau to be kept on record of the irresponsibility and unprofessional actions of Fast-Fix Jewlery & Watch Repair.

I had Fast Fix remount my engagement diamond in a bevel to be worn as a necklace. Today I took it in to a jewelry repair because it looked so dim in the bevel. My diamond was from my mother in law who had purchased it with her husband. She said it was a certified diamond. With my consult today I learned that it had been switched it with a cubic zirconia.
