My family and I eat at the ***************** in the ************ often. We ate their towards the end of June, and then came back and ate there again on July 5th. When I drove out of the hotel parking lot after our meal, I got a text message from the parking company indicating my session was 250+ hours long, and I was charged $195.99. The parking system is entirely automated, and it for some reason marked my car as having been parked there for nearly two weeks. I guess it didn't register when I left the lot after the first time we dined there in June. I called SP Plus parking that night and explained the situation. Their support person connected me to somebody else in our area via email to help refund my money. Went back and forth with a support person via email over the next five days. He couldn't seem to figure out how to process a refund. He even connected another person from the company that was a "subject matter expert for the system."After emailing back and forth for nearly a week they completely stopped responding and still have not processed a refund. I have called my bank to dispute the charge. This is fraud, plain and simple.

SP+ issued Violation #: *************** on 4/23/2024. I contacted SP+ to dispute the violation on 4/23/2024. On 4/26/2024 SP+ sent the following email (attached), "after further review of the dispute your citation has been voided from any further collections".However, on 6/18/2024 I received a collection notice from ********** ********************************* (reference ********) collecting on Violation #: *************** despite being released from payment by SP+ back on 4/26/2024.

The company placed the bill in collections before providing us a bill. I have never been late on any payment. The company is also over charging people of ***********, ******** for a parking location that has not previous charged people for parking. Charging $60.00 for a .99 cents parking fee is way out of proportion a parking ticket by the city is $25.00.1. Remove any reference to my information is sent to collections 2. Add large signage to the area you intend collect and provide the fine amount 3. Since this has caused undue stress in dealing with this company, we require a full refund 4. Do not send another person to collections you have not provided any notice of the violations previously.

My car was broken into under the supervision of *** at the Holiday Inn downtown ******. The *** employee guided me into the parking place and provided me with a parking stub for my wind shield. My care was broken into overnight and my CPAP machine stolen. I was told since the employee neglected to take my keys that they would not provide the insurance coverage they would have had the employee not made this error.
