On 9/21/21 Owner Gene C****** took my order for Rollaway Screen Door and repair a window shade. I wrote a check for $663.30 and expected delivery within 3 weeks. I understand Gene has passed away. Early on I spoke with Mary the office receptionist and she said the screen and shade are at the store and a tech will be out the next week to install the screen. She said this several times and no one showed up. At least a month ago Mary stopped answering the phone. Now I call the store number and it’s “temporarily unavailable please try later.” I have been by the store several times and no information has been posted. Here it is February and not even a phone call. I spoke to the Durango business license department and the city license has not been renewed for 2022.Initial Complaint

I ordered insulated window coverings for my bedroom. the total cost was $2,273.46. I paid a deposit of $1,000.00 with check #**** at the time I placed my order. This check cleared my bank October 14, 2021. In December, because I hadn’t heard from anyone, I contacted the office. I was told the blind were in SLC but were not being shipped because they lacked a “chip” for the remote control. I was told the “chip” wasn’t available due to shipping problems caused by COVID. Several times I tried to contact them and so did my daughter, but no avail.
*Our most recent contact was with ****************************** on Thursday, January 20, 2022. I have enclosed copies of the emails. My daughter, **** ******, tried to contact ***** *******, the late owner’s wife on January 24, 2022. The cell went immediately to voicemail; my daughter left a message explaining the problem. Mrs. ******* has not responded to the message left on her phone.
There is a discrepancy in the email amount I paid down on the blinds sent to ****************************** the correct amount is $1,100.00 not $1,650.00
