On November 8, 2022 I authorized JP's Garage to replace the transmission in my 2002 *** Sierra for the cost of $5800. The garage proceeded to perform an additional $5000 of unauthorized work. I cannot afford to pay this additional amount, I have discussed this with the garage. They are now holding my truck until payment is received for work I did not authorize.Business response

On 10/28/2022 we recieved a payment of $5000.00 dollars and discussed the remaining balance of $5749. We do believe that Matt did authorize the remaining work not just the transmission repair for $6979.23. We have since come to an agreement with the customer on the remining balance. We are still waiting to settle up the remaining balance.Customer response
