F$@# blue ribbon disposal, f@#$ their lazy a** drivers and f#@$ **** who answers the phones. She is the most unprofessional person I have had the displeasure to work with. Thinking it is okay to yell at customers, make snide comments and hang up on you when you simply call in to inquire why your trash has not been picked up two weeks in a row.They are the most unreliable trash company in this area: FREQUENTLY missing pickups and for some reason charging the entire amount for a given month for their "service" or lack thereof Anyone looking for a trash company avoid blue ribbon at all cost.Blue Ribbon Disposal Response

Our drivers are very concientious. This customer was notorious for not putting his toter at the end of the driveway by the road, which is required for the trash to be emptied. This day the customer called our office manager and was very rude to her and was yelling at her - we do have it recorded if he wants a play back. We instruct all of our employees to not take abuse (yelling) by customers and to disengage the conversation. This customer had his trash piled next to his vehicle. Our drivers are instructed to not damage a customers property so the driver did not empty the trash. The customer told **** he wouldn't care if we damaged his property **** explained to him the owners would not allow that. We do not frequently miss pickups. We will protect the drivers from bad weather, that is when we do not pick up trash if the wind exceeds 30 MPH or it's white out conditions. This customer complained trash was not picked up the week before, but when checking the cameras their trash was emptied.Review from Laticia S

Not at all happy with this company. Signed up for small dumpster weekly service. Paid rest of month (3 weeks) and fee for dropping off dumpster. Couple days later was scheduled for 1st pickup. Due to snow they didnt pick it up. They emailed said theyd be out in couple days. Couple days came and nothing. Next week came and got a call driver didn't want to come onto my concrete to pickup our trash.(that's why he didnt come the last week he said) We called back and said they didnt come last week he needed to come by and empty it we've had bigger trucks on concrete and didn't have any issues. When the guy came he was mad on where it was sat and said he couldn't and wouldn't pick it up from where it was at. And wasn't going to move it by hand either he didnt have time. So repeatedly drove off and on the edge off my concrete driveway - not my off ramp-with the truck to move the dumpster(of course causing the edge to break) and said he wouldn't be able to hit my off ramps and there was no way he could pickup my trash again. Then left. Leaving behind all my trash bags that wouldn't fit in dumpster cause we only had 1 pickup for 2 weeks. So I called the office and told them they needed to come pickup there dumpster cause I guess it wasn't going to work. Asked about a refund and was told yes they'd give one. Couple weeks went by still nothing, called and they claimed to have already sent refund. Finally got a refund and it was only 21$. So i was charged alittle over $100 for 1 pickup and a broken driveway. I would've thought whoever delivered the dumpster would've said they wouldnt be able to pick up my trash because of my concrete driveway in the begining. Never using this company again. And do not recomend them at all.Review from Katie W

HORRIBLE customer service. We have been with Blue ********************** for about 2+ years now. Many times they don't pick up our waste, due to inclement weather. They claim they don't charge for the extra trash when they do pick up, but they in fact do charge ** extra, every single time. Most recently we were charged for motor oil disposal. We do not change our vehicles oil at our home. We have NO used motor oil. We were charged for motor oil in our toter. When I called to dispute, **** claimed she had pictures to prove. I said please send me those photos. I received a photo of motor oil spilled in their trash compactor. Nothing that proved there was oil in our toter. **** was HORRIFFICLY rude. And claimed that one of our neighbors clearly placed motor oil in our trash tote. I went back thru my security cameras, and found nothing of the sort. Absolutely zero willingness to work with **, and figure out a solution.Blue Ribbon Disposal Response

1. There have been 2 times within the last 12 months we weren't able to pickup trash due to inclement weather. 2. We do not charge extra if we were not able to get the trash the week before 3. The driver did not see the motor oil in the toter, it was not discovered until after the toter's contents were dumped into the hopper of the trash truck 4. We suggested it was possible someone put the motor oil in their toter, this has happened before when other people put their trash in someone else's receptacle 5. Gina was not rude and explained they would try to see what they could do to prevent this from happening again, there was no accusation, it was a matter of fact the oil was in that particular receptacle 6. We always strive to come up with a solution to un-forseen issues and actually gave a credit to the customer's account, but the customer sent a very rude email, (please see email pasted below) cancelling service before we could try and solve the issue. FROM THE CUSTOMER: Yet you have no picture of the actual oil, in my toter? How do you feel this picture proves anything? That could have been from anyones trash, and when it was compacted, that’s when the leak happened. You have ZERO proof that the oil came from our toter. We do not change oil at our home. We have no containers of used oil. I will be going back thru my security cameras, and will be able to see if anyone placed motor oil in our toter. All of that to say, I would like to cancel our service with you IMMEDIATELY. Not only has your service been less than desirable since we’ve been with you, your customer service is deplorable. I’m not quite sure how you stay in business doing things the way you do, and how you speak to people. I have also contacted my Bank to dispute your charges. I've been with Blue Ribbon a few years now. I have never had any issues, I think **** is great! I contact her via text or email if needed, she has ALWAYS got back to me. I always use local companies first, I dumped ***** when they sold out to ******. I totally recommend this company!Blue Ribbon Disposal Response

I have been with Blue Ribbon for 5 years and recommended them. Since this is a rural area, our options are limited. Even as a trash company, Ginas customer service skills need improvement. She is bad at returning calls and bad at communicating when trash wont be picked up that day. When a new company came to town, I switched. I requested a refund from Blue Ribbon and was told no refunds. Instead, I said then since I have paid, pick up my dumpster on the date that I am paid to. **** said that was fine and we had it arranged to be picked up at the end of the month. She picked it up 3 weeks early anyway, not honoring our arrangement. Im glad to be rid of them. **** is rude and difficult to deal with.
