Eberl Claims Service is subcontracted through our homeowners insurance with Geico. We purchased our home in 2021 and early in 2024, my wife and I discovered a leak coming from the ceiling of the downstairs basement. We immediately stopped using the shower where we suspected the leak may be coming from upstairs as it sits directly above where we discovered the leak. We saved to hire a contractor, and got two quotes, to determine the cause and fix the root cause of the leak. We discovered the leak originating form the shower pan/drain so we had to completely replace and rebuild the shower area, tile and all. This came to a total of ~$17,000 for both bathrooms and we tried to reuse as much of the original material as possible to keep costs down. *************************** from Eberl was dispatched and was the most disingenuous adjuster when thinking back on it. The outcome is that he 100% denied my claim for coverage and then proceeded to never tell me. I had to follow up twice with my insurance company to get any kind of explanation before they escalated it and ****** finally called me. This is the reason we have homeowners insurance. We bought a house, we discovered an issue with the house. And we took all appropriate steps to fix the issue. ****** is denying it because he said the previous owner or construction company was negligent. Well, if that's the case, why can't they go after them. Almost all house issues have some root cause and someone ultimately to blame. In this case we are not to blame because we didn't do the original work. This loophole to deny coverage is what is wrong with the insurance industry and this adjuster has poor tact, was disingenuous to my face, and unprofessional with poor communication following. This business is a racket and I will no longer do business with a company with poor business practices such as this and a company doesn't look out for their customers and leaves us as the victim with 0 accountability or remorse from them.

I am a Turo host. My car was involved in a 4 car accident 10/29/2023. One car who was stated as causing the accident fled the scene. The car that hit my car and another car is a State Farm policyholder. In November 2023, the police report was finally released. It stated that the witnesses at the scene said the State Farm policyholder struck my car and another car. My car has a dent and scratches, but the other car received the brunt of the damages. I called the police officer who wrote the report, and he confirmed to me that the State Farm policyholder car if matched up to mind clearly would prove that it hit my car. He said he could not write definitely in the report because the cars were moved a part. I then called a number off of State Farm's claim web page to get the claim going. The first person I spoke with directed me to ***************************, phone number ************. The first person said that a claim 1358J482M was already started and that she was working on it. The start of ****** and my conversation was normal. She asked me what car I was referencing since multiple cars were involved. Once it was clear what vehicle it was, ****** asked me if I was the insurance representative, what was my affiliation. I told her I was the vehicle owner. Her next words to me was my client's car did not cause the damages to your vehicle. I said why would you say that when the police report says witnesses says your client car struck the cars. She just kept saying her client's car didn't cause the damages. So I said why wouldn't your client say otherwise on the police report. ****** said to me, I don't know, ask my client. That was the end of the conversation. Every time I pass my car and see the dent and scratches I think of how insanely unprofessional ****** was. I don't know why State Farm has Eberl as contract adjusters. State Farms motto is like a good neighbor state farm is there. They need to make sure that their contractors have the same motto.

A claims adjuster, *************************, is an employee of Eberl. She came to our home on Friday, October 14th, to make a roof inspection. Her tone of voice was confrontational. She did not record or report to management the storm damage to our roof. She did not look at nor take photos of all damage. She reported to management only what she thought they'd accept. She's recommended a patch job to our roof that our insurance company, State Farm, would never insure. It is now Friday, October 21st, and we've heard nothing back from Eberl. I've called multiple times and left an email complaint on their website. It's been one week with no email or phone call. Further, we can not find that ************************* is licensed in the ***********. Her paperwork lists her license as **. License #*******. But, an internet search reveals nothing under her name or number.
