I have a medical condition. PEAK requires an exorbitant amount of actions to cancel. They have a contract that shocks ordinary people, my doctor, lawyer. I wish to complain because, regardless of the outcome, the contract and their practices must be addressed.

Received phone call today from PEAK, Lakewood. Representative assured me that they are able to cancel my membership and got my email to send me cancellation documents. She was kind and assuring. I will keep checking for the email. I think all will be well. I will let BBB know if there are any problems, but it seems that PEAK is handling the matter with fairness and prompt help as I provide them with the details needed to allow them to complete the process.

I signed up for a membership at *************** on *************** in ********** ** on 10/1 after a consultation meeting to go over pricing and basic info. the flyer said $1,497 total for a year with 6 months free if i signed up that day, it listed down payments and monthly payment options under that as well. I asked if i put down the $750 if i would only make the 6 payments of 95$ and receive 6months free still and was told yes so i agreed and signed up. when i got the email with the contract it said 12 payments of 95$ on top of the 750 would be charged. I could not log in to the account on the app they use to schedule and have my information so i contacted **** (manager) on ********* I told her that i would not have signed up if i had been told it was $750 down and 12 monthly payments of $95. She told me that the girl who signed me up and explained billing was new and that i should try it out for the "complimentary month" and decide if its worth the money and if not to contact the email listed on the contract. I emailed ************************* stating that i was given wrong information when i signed up and talked to **** already and need someone to call me to talk about a refund and cancelation . I emailed **************************** on 10/20, 10/26 and never received a reply from either emails. I emailed again on 11/19 stating that i was going to file a report because no one will answer emails or call me back. Then i got an email back saying "the manager tried to reach out but never heard back" yet there was never any voicemails left. finally ***************** called me on 11/24 offering a "better deal if i pay $150 more", which i was not interested in after being lied to about initial pricing and them refusing to contact me back. He then said he could refund the $95 from 11/1 that i was charged after i had tried to cancel and that he couldnt refund the $750 since i needed to physically bring in a written notice of cancelation and refund request 3 days after signing

After **** had called back the following Tuesday he left me a message with a call back number , I called twice with no answer so left a voicemail asking for a call back which I never received . But **** had told me this company " *************** " was entirely separate and no affiliation with a past company that had the same staff and location (that had refused to work with me on a medical pause on my account when medication did not allow that much activity) yet my previous billing shows on this company's website And the phone number I was given stated on their voicemail to contact was an 'I love kickboxing ' email

After leaving a voicemail asking **** to call me back , I had received no other contact, email or call back. When I saw I wasn't charged another month of membership I checked the scheduling website and saw that a separate manager had cancelled my account , with out contacting me nor giving the refund that was promised nor the down payment and total refund that ************* said he was looking into .

I tried them out on a free offer. and attended one actual class after signing up for a trial. It severly agrivated many of my existing and previous health issues. Including asthma, tendonitis, and a severely broken leg about a year ago from a motorcycle crash. I sent them two emails to notify them that I cannot continue due to health reasons. Neither email was responded to at all. Then I recieve an email claiming they were having trouble billing me, after I had already contacted them to cancel any commitment or trial I was doing there with no aknowldegment of my trying to contact them previously. This is not fair or hinest business practices. Their so called contract states you can cancel within 30 days of beginning the training. is full of deception and they seem to not honor their own documents and ignore or refuse to acknowledge the request to cancel or any fact of health risks endangering me further participating in their class. This business is just not honest or fair and open. They just want to take my money. I just don't want to be charged for services not recieved or rendered and think people should be warned about their "contracts" being deceptive and not honored by them but dishonorable held against participants. I do t want any refund, as I only paid them $100. But I do not wish to be charged for a service I cannot recieve.

I have further complaints about this business. Now they are trying to state that I've passed my membership time ? cancell and are demanding 700 dollers or so in cancelation fees. They waited a few days to reply on my cancelation notice in order to manipulate and scam me.  What do I. Do, and can u add this to my complaint form or shall I submit a secondary claim against them. Or report them to arapahoe county sheriff or what?

I bought into a special they were running of buy six month membership, get six months free. I did so in November of 2022. I did so with the intent that I was not going anywhere with my personal life anytime soon. I surprisingly got a new job and gave them notice I was moving, canceled my membership and also informed them that I had bought a renewal and that I had not hit that time where my renewal would begin. I asked to be refunded for the buy six, get six months free promotion. They refuse to refund me for time that has not been used and me paying in advance.
