Around January 22, 2024, I noticed a water stain on my basement ceiling. I called 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty. I told them I had a water leak and water damage. I did not know where the leak was and that they may have to tear out some of the basement ceiling. 2-10 Warranty made arrangements with Crown Hill Services of Denver. On January 24, 2024, ****** from Crown Hill Services came to fix my water leak. I was not home as I was at work. But my brother and my mother were there. ****** fixed the leak and call American Water Damage. When I got home ****** was gone. My brother told me what ****** did and that he fixed the water leak. We are having problems with American Water Damage. This looks really bad for ******, Crown Hill Services, and 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty. I would like to speak to a supervisor and find out what went wrong. I feel like ****** took advantage of senior citizens as everyone in my home is over 50.

Water heater went out. American Home Shield (AHS) contracts with Crown. Crown came out and said we needed it replaced. They also said it wasnt up to code and we would need to pay $475 for a new gas and water line. They installed on 11/3. On 11/4 I noticed a water leak. A different tech came out and said the line was defector and needed to replace that. After replacing it, again, he said we were all set. I had people over who said it smelled like gas. 11/5 I smelled the gas. Called *********** and they came immediately. Diagnosed with a 40% gas leak the largest the technician had ever seen, and shut off the water heater and all gas. So the two lines Crown replaced, were both leaking. We almost died. I am lucky to be alive after having a leak like that since Thursday. I spoke to AHS and they said we need to use Crown because thats who they contract with. After numerous calls, voicemails, and texts, I hear back from Crown. Im told they can come between 4-6 on 11/5. I said 6 works. He tells me we dont work after 6 on Saturdays. Well isnt that convenient. *********** said the job was not done correctly and I have included pictures.

08/18/22, Hot water heater was replaced by Crown. The pan placed under the new heater had holes and cracks in it. Work was being done in the area and contractors could not figure out why the floor underneath the heater would not dry. A plumber was called out to move the heater. The pan was discovered to be the cause. The floor underneath had to be replaced. The plumber had to go get a new pan. The additional cost of their time and the pan cost $155. Crown was notified and made no attempts to refund that amount.

This customer is not a retail customer. They are a customer of American Home Shield, a national home warranty company. We installed a water heater in accordance with the home warranty guidelines. There was an out of pocket expenses due for non covered items of the amount of ******, which were NOT covered by the home warranty company. The ****** out of pocket did not include replacement of the existing pan. It was to re use the existing pan. Prior to the customer reaching out ************************ Home ******************** regarding a refund, she had made a request to her credit card company to reverse the charges of ******.This customer is attempting to reimburse herself for the work that was performed with the home warranty company and profit by seeking an additional amount for the replacement of the pan.

At no time did this customer reach out to the home warranty company as required by her policy to work through any workmanship issues or questions regarding her policy coverage, furthermore she has been put on a do not service list through her home warranty company on behalf of Crown Home Services for making ****** aggressive racist, sexist, and political remarks to the service technician that installed her water heater.
