After windshield installation the trim pieces on either side repeatedly came off. It turns out that the installation was incredibly shoddy and now I will need to replace the windshield as well as trim pieces and retainer pieces at considerable expence.Business response

we are terribly sorry he feel that way, he also took the vehicle to another place to get the passenger molding re attached i cant be responsible for that company workmanship since warranty is voided in that case, i understand cust frustrations so if he need to remove the glass which is a dw2002 gby for 449.90 ill buy that piece for him and pay the ***** amount for the disposal and taxes and we will pay for the 60 labor plus removing the reviews on ****** and yelp, and never post those again and forget my number and never come to my shop again thats all i can do let me know how you want to proceedCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: I'm not sure that I understand the company's response. It is apparent that the problem with the molding is because of faulty installation, and not only does the windshield need to be replaced, but I will also need new retainer strips and molding pieces. If I read the owner's response correctly, and he is willing to replace the windshield at no expense to me I believe we can work something out, although given the circumstances I would require that the work be warrantied.

he contacted me via email and we sent him a check for ****** which was what he paid for it, please stay on top of this if you are going to be bothering people with all this non sense, the least you can do is follow up
