I contracted with Ridgeline ********************************************* in November 2022 to complete a basement remodel. The project has extended significantly beyond the committed timeline, they did not pull permits until I required it, had consistent project blunders, and components of the job have been extremely low quality. I paid them $119K of the $125K owed. We agreed to part ways and I would complete the balance of work that needs to be done and I would correct all the poor quality work, but he wants me to pay $3K for the carpet - that I believe is already paid for in the money I paid him. I would like for him to release the carpet I believe I already paid for without additional funds and he refuses. I am already paying other contractors to have the drywall, electric corrected and the basement repainted.Business response

Ridgeline was able to resolve the complaint. Weve contacted the customer and will be paying for the carpet. We sincerely apologized for the frustration and delay in the project.
