In December of 2022, I called All Plumbing and Heating LLC to inquire about a new sink install in my kitchen. On 12-29-22, they sent a worker to my house to measure my current sink and tell me the size and type of sink to buy. After confirming these measurements with the owner, I purchased the exact size sink (36x22). On 2-10-23, All Plumbing and Heating LLC came to my house to install the drop-in sink. During the course of the install, the worker attempted to remove my old sink by sawing it out of the countertop. At no point before or during the install process did the contractor tell me that this would require intensive sawing of the old sink and could potentially ruin my countertop. Because of this attempted sink removal, my countertop was ruined to the point that a drop-in sink can no longer be installed. The cut-out that was made is jagged, uneven, and extends too far into the countertop. This was confirmed by another company on 2-13-23 who said the botched sink removal did not allow for enough space for a new sink to rest and bear the weight of dishes/ water. I made the business aware of this issue on the same day (2-10-23) and the owner asked for my availability the following week. I told him I was available the remainder of the weekend and following week. Then I texted the same number that Monday for an update and received no reply. Over the course of the next 4 days, I called several times looking for an update and received no reply. At the end of the week, I spoke to another individual about the situation and he said he would make the owner aware of it. I was given the owner’s personal cell and finally made contact on 2-17-23 when he made it clear that he had no intentions to resolve the issue. He told me that they don't measure sinks, despite the fact he sent one of his workers out to do just that. Additionally, he is not acknowledging the fact that his employee botched the job which now requires a full countertop replacement to correct.
