I went to A1 looking for a car. I found one but it had issues. I put a deposit on the car 520 dollars and he filled out the paper showing I put a deposit and what needed to be fixed. He specifically said this is not a contract. I had my mechanic look at the car and it needed major repairs so I told them I would like my deposit back. They said I signed a contract and my money is nonrefundable even though the car will not pass inspection.

In November 22nd I went to this dealership to purchase a vehicle, I had given a down deposit of $1900 to the person that was dealing with me who was Ayaz J***** and received a receipt on this day, a few days later he had contacted me stating I didn’t give him the down payment even though I did and received a receipt, I explained to him that I did but he insisted I did not and claimed here was video footage evidence of them not receiving the $1900 down payment; I requested the footage and they said they would give it to me so me and my spouse had brought them the money but still hadn’t received any video footage yet. After we had given them the second $1900 we asked for a receipt and again they printed out the same receipt from before which was odd, after we gave them the money the second time we kept requesting the video footage to show we didn’t give them the money originally and they won’t respond anymore. I’m not sure what to do and am completely baffled by the unprofessionalism with this business.

I purchased my daughter a car here and right off the bat there were many issues. We focused on the coolant leaking and were willing to let all of the little stuff go. Every time I called in to let them know the coolant was leaking my phone calls were ignored or not returned but I was persistent. I was given every excuse in the book of why they couldn't fix it right away someone was on vacation, their shop was busy ect. However I was able to bring the car in on 4 separate occasions to be "fixed". Of course the issue was never fixed and the car is still leaking coolant. I suspect they were just pouring leak stop into because the heater core went bad that they made me split the bill for. I just called back again as the car is still leaking coolant and was told "good luck" and hung up on. I feel I have been extremely patient and they have had the car more than we have had it and it still is not fixed. I appreciate any help that can be given as this is my daughter's first car and she has been without her car for school work and sports not to mention paying car payments and insurance on a car she hasn't even been able to drive. When we paid to have the heater core fixed I requested documentation for the 4 times they supposedly fixed the coolant leak and a description of what was done. They refused to give me anything and said since it was fixed in house they have no paperwork. Thank you.

Vehicle was sold as is and without any warranty. Repairs were made in goodwill a week within purchase for a coolant leak. A few months after we split the cost of replacing the heater core. We have gone above and beyond the expectations of this sale.
