      Travelers raised our home insurance policy so we got another company but my mortgage company. Paid them anyway and also the new one from the other company so my mortgage went up because not having enough escro.So we sent them all the documents needed to get Travelers to give me back the money but every single day they need more info .I have no other info. They will not give back my money .Been fighting this for 6 months. Unreal .

      I had the very unpleasant experience with a representative named Sherry. Sherry was very condescending and rude. My husband and I were looking to start insurance and to our mistake we missed the fine print that Sherry pointed out to us and I informed her that since we now know what our mistake was to not to send our information to the underwriter until my husband and I get all of our ducks in a row, she proceeded to send our information to the underwriter anyway. I told her that she was very rude and she snapped back at me so I asked for a manager and she informed me she would get a manager. She constantly kept getting back on the phone telling me more information that we missed on our previous policy as if she was taunting us. I kept informing her that I am done speaking with her and that I need her manager and after several minutes she finally got me to one. I am not sure if any action was done but the experience was so unpleasant that I am considering going to another company. No one should be treated this way.

      One star is to many for these EVIL PARASITES! They are truly negligentthey take in BILLIONS AND BILLIONS when workers are hurt they come in and deny deny any and all treatment that would fix the problem I was denied a CT scan which is now prolonging the surgery I need to get my life back! To save some money for the companies involved! I hope they loose their license

      This is the scam bond insurance company. Freight broker did not pay me and I contacted bond in May it past 5 months and they never respond. These kind of companies never should be allowed to do business

      My dad was purchasing a house but became ill and had to cancel the contract. We contacted the contracted agent with Travelers and cancelled. He dropped the ball and did not cancel the policy. My dad passed on 7/10 and the contract was cancelled on 7/8. They took the entire amount out of his account in September. I have called and sent all the information they needed to show it was cancelled and they will not return the entire amount. I proved it will the phone record, house cancellation and the death certificate. Everything they asked for and they still will not date back to 7/8. I will continue to pursue this until my dads money is returned. This was so unfair and shows what kind of company this is. I would rather leave a no star rating.

      I see all these bad reviews but I beg to differ from them. Travelers saved my business with insurance I did not even know I had. After my building here in ***** got hit with a tornado in May, the building had so much damage I could not operate my collision center any more. Just for the heck of it I called Travelers to see if I had coverage for no business and they said it was "iffy" but said they would cover my losses. The claims adjuster Tee and her counterpart Mario jumped in to help me and got me through the worst of it. They were very easy to deal with, sent me a check every month and reality saved me. I would also like to mention that being a collision center I deal with every insurance company to repair these cars and I rate Travelers in the top 5 for service and fair treatment. If any company deserves a good review it is Travelers. Disregard all the bad reviews, I do not believe them!! THANK YOU travelers TEE and Mario!!

      Travelers dropped my house policy and forget to notify me. (Paid an annual premium in April, found later that Travelers rep who process the payment and told ne that everything OK never completed it)

      I contacted Travelers insurance because I am an AMAC member and my Farmer's ins. rates have gotten too high. They would not cover me because my wife has a hobby working with stain glass, you know, those little 5-6 inch cardinals that you might hang in a window. The two Travelers agents that I talked to could not believe that the underwriters would refuse coverage because simple hobby. I felt like if they would say no to this, what could possible qualify? Certainly not a weight room, very dangerous. Probably no one with a lawn mower or snow blower, deadly motors. I know I'm getting out of hand, but I've never felt slighted like this before. Thanks for listening. *** **

      Horrendous experience trying to cancel my Travelers auto policy after having been a great customer with no claims or complaints for over 10 years. I called Travelers to cancel my auto policy at the end of the policy period as it had become ridiculously expensive in my opinion. I asked the Travelers representative if it would work to end the Travelers policy on the last day of the policy and begin my policy with the new company the following day and she said "yes" without question. She stated that since it was only about a week until the automatic payment for the month after the cancellation would be deducted from my bank account that the charges would be reversed as I would not have had any insurance with Travelers that month. Low and behold, Travelers deducts that money from my bank account and no less than 5 Travelers representatives promised that I would be refunded the full amount, it was in process, it was just delayed and was in process, then $50 would be deducted from the refund as I went a day over the end of the policy period (which I did not), then more would be deducted from the refund due to a motor vehicle fee that no one had ever told me about, and on and on. I had my bank do an investigation and they took back the month's amount of insurance from Travelers and returned it to my bank account. I continued to receive harrassing emails from Travelers dispute resolution center that I continued to owe them money for the month after my auto policy had ended. I had enjoyed having Travelers insurance for many years, though this experience trying to cancel an auto policy at the end of the policy period was a complete nightmare. I would not ever get Travelers insurance again even if it was free.
